The Speaker’s Introduction:
Swami Tattwamayananda, currently the Minister of the Vedanta Society of Northern California, San Francisco, (originally founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1900) served in various centers of the Ramakrishna Order in India as editor, publisher, and teacher of Sanskrit, Advaitic texts such as Sri Shankaracharya’s commentaries on the ‘Prasthanatraya’ (the fundamental Sanskrit texts of Vedanta philosophy), Buddhism and Indian philosophy. He underwent traditional training in Hindu scriptures, Sanskrit, Vedic and Vedantic literature for many years, from his early days. Before coming to the United States in January 2012 he was teaching Sanskrit, Vedantic scriptures and Indian philosophy at the Training center in Belur Math, the institution that trains the monks of the Ramakrishna Order at the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission, Kolkata, India. Apart from his traditional education, the Swami has also received modern University education in English literature, psychology, European history, and Western philosophy. He is frequently invited for lectures on Yoga, Vedanta, and traditional Hindu scriptures and for participating in interfaith dialogues.
Swami Tattwamayananda’s exposition of the ISHAVASYA UPANISHAD was given in the Old Temple at the Vedanta Society of Northern California, San Francisco (founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1900) from February 3, 2012, to April 6, 2012, in a series of 9 lectures.

Every good story begins with a question… and this show is full of them.
Gen-Xers & friends for 20 years, Erin Stallings & O’Dell Hutchison (also the hosts of the unsolved mysteries podcast “Six Degrees of WTF”) have been through a lot together: Bad decisions, bad dates, not-so-brilliant ideas, successes, failures, triumphs and humiliations – often with hilarious results. And don’t get them started on the bad decisions they made as kids growing up in the 80’s and 90’s.
At the request of family, friends and listeners of their “weird, murdery show”, they’re venturing outside of the true crime realm, and taking on real(ish) life. Your ears may never be the same.
Every episode begins with a single question and where it goes from there is anyone’s guess. Reason #28 everyone is staring at us: We never really hit our goals for this show, so we’re shutting down for now. Before we do, we discuss one of O’Dell’s favorite tear-jerkers from the 80s: Terms of Endearment. It always brings all the feels. Going back to the “we’re shutting down” announcement: We’re not going away completely. We’ll be back every summer with a new show titled, “Suddenly, Last Summer” which will bring with it several themes from this show, but in a more focused way. Keep an eye out for a trailer and more announcements sometime in May 2022. If you have a question, a confession or something else that you’d like to share with us, send us a message. https://beacons.page/everyoneisstaring (Follow us)
