    The Underground Filmmakers’

    The Underground Filmmakers’

    by

    Since Jul 3, 2019 10:42 UTC

Congratulations, you have arrived at the “all-stop-shop” of filmmaking podcasts. We are just two underground filmmakers who sit down once a week and talk about: our experiences, movies, we come up with script ideas live, filmmaking tips and tricks, conspiracies, and much, much more. Join a community that is all about learning and evolving on our journey toward being the filmmakers we aspire to be.

THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO OUR LATEST PODCAST – “”Eyes Wide Shut” – An Oracle from the Past | Film Analysis.” In this week’s episode, we decided to do something that we have never done prior. Not only are we filmmakers – we are also massive cinema nerds! Eyes Wide Shut is certainly one of our favorite films. Not only does it still hold its weight 20 years later – but we believe very strongly that it holds a much deeper meaning. Many of the things that the film depicts are becoming more an more prevalent by the day… Want to see what we mean? Give this podcast a listen – and if you can – we made an entire video essay to go along with this episode! Check it out! Also – we apologize for the hiatus. This episode required a lot of video editing to be done – so we overextended ourselves… But, fear not – we shall be back on track now that we have released this episode! Have a blessed day!

Poetry Is The Death of Me

    by

    Since Feb 29, 2020 20:44 UTC

This is what happens when a poet starts a podcast. The poet aims too high causing her to crash and burn. Then she dies. Yeah, it’s tragic. But while we mourn the death of the overzealous poet, please enjoy the creative content. Let’s both laugh and lament together. Sound like fun? No? Well of course! Death isn’t fun. Podcasts are.

Elisha Gray (August 2, 1835 – January 21, 1901) was an American electrical engineer who co-founded the Western Electric Manufacturing Company. Gray is best known for his development of a telephone prototype in 1876 in Highland Park, Illinois and is considered by some writers to be the true inventor of the variable resistance telephone, despite losing out to Alexander Graham Bell for the telephone patent.
