Stories of life growing up on the shores of the Hudson River. From an abundant treasure trove of stories gathered from life, children, Shakespeare and other great teachers comes a personal podcast of stories that weave the thread of this life back down through the ages and forward into the future. These are the stories I would tell my grandchildren if I ever had any. These are the stories I have shared with countless children – those who shared a time of learning with me as students, my own two children who love and tell stories of their own, and for Lu, who loved the “gory stories” best.

It’s the little things we ignore, isn’t it? Thorn in my Side (TimS) takes personal stories from Black and brown individuals who are willing to share moments from their everyday encounters with racism. We’re focusing on the experiences that don’t make headlines, and how even these ‘micro-aggressions’ are more impactful than we give them credit for. Each episode highlights moments across a variety of fields and backgrounds, showing that no person of color can hide from this. We have to take a new approach so we can see an end to this cycle.

The podcast for women who are beating the odds in life and business by the grace of God. Hosted by Brittany King. Her motto for 2020 will be “new year, same me!” This episode is interesting because Brittany really gets candid about her view of self. She explains why she’s adopted the attitude to be the same Brittany she’s always been and explains what it takes to live the life you love (while honoring God).
