Jesus gave Peter an assignment in three words, “Feed my sheep.” Peter understood what Jesus meant. He knew the sheep Jesus referred to were people. The world is filled with “pastors” (shepherds) involved in all kinds of ministries. Like Peter, we, as pastors, have assignments. We, too, must shepherd (lead) people to the green pasture that provides continuous life. There is very little recorded about what went on when Jesus was placed inside the tomb. Before God raised Him from the dead on the third day, there was activity inside the burial place.
