    by

    Since Jul 1, 2020 08:17 UTC

Join Jeremy Bolm, vocalist of Touché Amoré and founder of the record label Secret Voice, for his latest project, The First Ever Podcast. This is an honest look at the humble beginnings of all kinds of different artists – from actors and musicians to poets and photographers.

Through conversation, Jeremy explores how their first experiences with their art form lead them to where they are today. In today’s world of instant gratification, it’s important to be reminded that not everything happens fast and easy. To succeed as an artist, it often takes a lot of steps and wrong turns along the path. And uncovering the nuances of those creative journeys is what this show is all about.

    Shabam!

    Shabam!

    by

    Since Feb 22, 2016 17:00 UTC

The science podcast that’ll eat your brain. Shabam! is a new type of science show that blends fictional stories with real science. If you love science but hate those awkward scientist interviews that involve graphs and confusing metaphors, you’re in luck. First off, Shabam! is an audio program – so no graphs. And second, through the magic of sound effects and music, you’ll hear stories that reveal the awesomeness in the world around us – like cellphones and vaccinations. In season one, our main story is about three kids separated from their parents during a Zombie apocalypse. Over the course of 10 episodes we follow their quest to reunite with their families. But their experience leads us to another conclusion – that there’s a lot of science all around us that we take for granted. And finally, you may be wondering whether we’ve added silly songs and jokes to make up for the fact that we can’t show you graphs. Yes we have. Also, we only interview cool scientists who aren’t awkward, which means the whole family can enjoy it!

    Tough To Talk About

    Tough To Talk About

    by

    Since Apr 7, 2022 14:00 UTC

Many important topics are often avoided or glossed over as they are tough to talk about. Topics such as race, mental illness, and personal relationships. Join the crew of Tough To Talk About as they go deep on these topics and more with the ultimate goal of opening the dialogue and healing, uniting and sparking change.

This show sponsored by On The Ground (www.ontheground.store). A brand that spreads love.

On the latest episode of Tough To Talk About we have renowned adolescent trauma expert Dr. Yared Alemu on the show.

Dr. Alemu talks to his own personal journey from growing up in Ethiopia to dropping out of high school (and various drug activity) to going on to becoming one of the leading experts on childhood trauma. Dr. Alemu now leads the charge at TQIntelligence a tech company that can assess and predict mental health severity in kids leveraging the human voice.

The show covers a lot of ground from trauma, to the underlying human need to love and kindness to systemic racism and the increased stress that goes with that.

    This is a must listen.

    Cradle My Heart

    Cradle My Heart

    by

    Since Mar 31, 2022 19:00 UTC

Cradle My Heart Radio is a weekly opportunity to connect with others in light of God’s Word, as together we are finding God’s love–especially during unintended pregnancy and after abortion.

Kim Ketola’s faith and life experience unveil the spiritual impact of abortion on the women and men who choose it—as well as the hope available to make a better choice. My story and voice have been featured on many national radio and television outlets, I was inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2013 for my work while known as Kim Jeffries (KS95, WCCO Radio and TV, and KTIS).

My book Cradle My Heart, Finding God’s Love After Abortion won First Place at the 2010 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, is an Amazon #1 bestseller, and was a Finalist for the Evangelical Christian Press Association’s Book of the Year in 2013, and features a Foreword by Ruth Graham. I believe these awards reflect how redemption in our Lord Jesus Christ resonates in readers’ hearts–using our worst, even fatal mistakes for his greatest glory.
