Songs have the power to shape who we are and what we are inspired to create. Featuring all of our band members(eventually…), as well as some exciting guests from across the music world “THE TRACKS THAT MADE US” is a deep-dive into the songs and artists that have shaped our sound and formed who we are! As proud music geeks, we pack the show with obscure trivia, unexpected links to artists, and always a reference to KISS – The hottest band in the world! We finish every show with a cover/collaboration of the episode’s track which can always be found with a full video on our YouTube channel – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRKRVXdzI7eAmIsY0y-LA-A We hope you enjoy listening to the show and we’d love to hear about the tracks that made you; you can connect with us on social media at https://www.facebook.com/justaridepage and https://www.instagram.com/justarideband/ Okay, so it has been a while, but it is finally here; episode ten of THE TRACKS THAT MADE US. In this episode Drew and Rod go back to basics and return the show’s formula to how it all started; two guys from the band Just A Ride having a good old chinwag about one of their favourite songs and the impact it has had on them as songwriters. The song is Running Away, the band is Hoobastank and this is one of THE TRACKS THAT MADE US.

Splunk [Data Fabric Search and Data Stream Processor] 2019 .conf Videos w/ Slides Popular stream processing frameworks (such as Apache Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, and Apache Kafka Streams) make stream processing accessible to developers with language bindings typically in Java, Scala, and Python. These frameworks also include some variant of streaming SQL support to further expand the accessibility of large-scale, low-latency, high-throughput stream processing. What’s missing is bringing the world of stream processing to the Business Intelligence user. At Splunk we’ve built a tool called Splunk Data Stream Processor (DSP) to fill this gap. In this session, Max and Sharon will present the design and architecture of DSP. We will compare it with other stream processing frameworks to show you how DSP allows users to visually author and preview stream processing pipelines and instantly deploy them at scale. We will also present our developer SDKs, allowing third-party custom functions to be developed and integrated for data processing. With its high level abstractions for business users and extensible framework for developers, Data Stream Processor makes stream processing accessible to the widest possible audience.

Never Give up Radio is a platform focused on kicking the stigma that currently surrounds mental health. Through sharing stories of hope and resilience, and from hosting athletes, doctors, veterans and a wide array of other guests who provide years of experience and personal insight into the mental health field, it is our hope that we can supply people with the education and tools necessary in order to find the light at the end of the tunnel. Our goal is to make this topic easier to talk about with family and friends. To normalize this discussion does not lessen the gravity of its importance, rather it makes people more aware and more willing to reach out, help, and most importantly, to understand each other. Let’s get to work!
