But we did find some random podcasts for you!
Sex, relationships, pop culture, and lifestyle trends — nothing is off the table when you’re living your life the way you f****ing want. Mandy and Ashley are two comedians that are not life coaches, but they’re your funny friends that egg you on to take that shot (both in life and tequila). They may be too old to die young, but young enough to still entertain all the weird stuff you are curious about. Join the fun!
What She Said, is a space for black girls and young adults to transition in graceful, poise, and respected women, with unconditional acceptance of who they are and support for who they want to be. To all black girls: come as you are. Don’t hide your mess, confusion, stress, or process. If you’ve been overcoming trauma from bullying, microaggressions, feeling outcasted, or an unharmonious relationship with family – you’re in the right place and you’re not alone. In each episode, you’ll hear black girls 18-24 share stories similar to yours and speak their truth without feeling judged or guilty. What happens when you put three philosophers in a podcast? If you haven’t already guessed it, the answer is “F for philo”.
Do you often have questions about life, that you feel you just can’t get answers to? Like why do you exist? What are you? and what exactly is existence at all?
Ranging from the most heart-warming of topics, such as love, to the darkest of topics, such as existence and death, our philosophers explore it all, in their pursuit for truth. Take a seat and listen from wherever you are, in traffic, burning the midnight oil, at work, on a lunch break or sitting on your couch. Journey with us through “F for philo” as we try to uncover the mysteries of life.

Each week, co-hosts, Alida Winternheimer, author and writing coach at Word Essential, Kathryn Arnold, emerging writer, & Robert Scanlon, author of the Blood Empire series, have conversations about the craft of writing fiction. They bring diverse experiences and talents to the table from both the traditional and indie worlds. Our goal is for each episode to be a fun, lively discussion of some aspect of story craft that enlightens, as well as entertains. Sometimes we have special guests. All episodes are available in video as well. Visit www.StoryWorksPodcast.com for videos, show notes, and more.

What’s the secret to living happily ever after with someone (or some two or three)? Where’s My Happy Ending? is from the team behind the award-winning Dirty Mother Pukka podcast: Heart Radio presenter Anna Whitehouse (@mother_pukka) and journalist husband Matt Farquharson (@papa_pukka). Each episode sees an interviewee grilled about love, life and how to get to happily ever after – whatever that looks like to them. From the famous chef who had a decade long affair, to the stand-up comedian who became a national pariah and the transgender activist who walked out on a marriage to transition in mid-life, it takes a humourous peek in to other lives and what they’ve learned in the search for happily ever after.

The podcast is filled with advice, tips, and many real-life examples demonstrating what can go wrong (and what can go right), depending on whether or not families plan accordingly in advance, communicate clearly with one another, and are willing to put petty and selfish differences aside. No one likes talking about death and inheritances before they absolutely have to, but as I have learned from personal experience, having these conversations earlier, rather than later, will save a lot of time and money, alleviate a ton of stress and ill-feeling, and ensure that the deceased’s wishes are properly and efficiently carried out.

Going for Broke is a co-production of the Economic Hardship Reporting Project and PRX’s “To The Best of Our Knowledge” at Wisconsin Public Radio. The three-part series hosted by broadcaster Ray Suarez centers on Americans who have lived on the edge. They share their sometimes startling economic experiences and also insight into our society as a whole. Each hour also includes some of our country’s top thinkers on income inequality, among them the legendary writer Barbara Ehrenreich, author of the classic “Nickel and Dimed,” who passed away in September 2022. In each episode we ask: what would result if we put more care into how we dealt with housing or mental health crises or our workplaces? Going for Broke explores these questions, moving from powerful personal accounts to visionary solutions.
