Glee on the Rocks: an unofficial Glee podcast

Glee on the Rocks: an unofficial Glee podcast

    by

    Since Jan 13, 2018 04:12 UTC

an unofficial retrospective about Glee, the fandom, and its effects on all our lives every episode we break down the highs and lows of the writing, the music, and the cultural impact of a network TV show that only ran 6 seasons and ended 5 years ago Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/glee-on-the-rocks-podcast/support

This is S3E12, “The Spanish Teacher.” In an episode that hinges on the fact that Mr. Schuester is The Worst, we learn that there is a much more qualified Spanish teacher teaching night school at McKinley – David Martinez, aka Ricky Martin. Meanwhile, Sue Sylvester decides she wants a baby and goes after the Glee club boys for their, uhm, donations.

Kevin McScale: 2 – he was there, but it wasn’t enough.
Klainedex: 2 – Blaine’s not even in this episode, but he is referenced.
Coulda Shoulda Woulda Index: Okay but technically we could have had Ricky Martin the WHOLE TIME.

Our wonderful sound engineer is Adriana, and this episode is sponsored by you, our Patrons.

Mask up. Take care of each other.

    Argentine Tango

    Argentine Tango

    by

    Since Dec 2, 2016 18:52 UTC

Tango is so much more than a musical genre. It’s history, passion and feeling. It’s integration of culture, distance and generations in one expression, an Argentine sound, that people around the world associate with us and our country.

Tango has got its history, secrets, artists. Past, present and future of a cultural expression declared by UNESCO as Non-Material Cultural Heritage of Mankind.

Every week we introduce a special program about the most important people in Argentine tango. It’s a production by Julieta Galván, presented by Mirian Turkula and Fernando Farias. Considered one of the most important tango singers of the second half of the XX century, Julio Sosa was born in Uruguay, but he made his career in Argentina. And in only 15 years, since he died quite young in an accident, he became one of the top icons of tango history.

2 Cents of My Sense & Other Nonsense

2 Cents of My Sense & Other Nonsense

    by

    Since Aug 27, 2007 18:21 UTC

2 Cents of My Sense and Other Nonsense is a short weekly program featuring insightful and inspiring two-cents with the aim of providing you things to consider so you can live your best life possible. While journeying through Los Angeles VP stumbled upon a radio magazine and began writing, producing and hosting 2 Cents of My Sense and Other Nonsense – a feature program about commentary and news on a variety of topics. The program used to feature a hodgepodge of DJ stints, insights into spirituality and self-image, and original short stories. As VP refined her voice, this podcast has become more about spreading the insight gained from observations in her own life. She hopes her listeners will be able to gain a fresh perspective and breath of fresh air from listening to Val’s 2 cents as she gains from writing and hosting. Comments are welcome! BLISSings 🙂 [itunes pic]
www.PauleValerie.com This episode is a follow up to “I Dare You to Offend Someone: A Parable.” Jonathan didn’t follow his intuition, but what if what happened was a blessing in disguise? If it ultimately worked to his favor then doesn’t this whole intuition thing not matter? Not necessarily true. In this episode we explore how perception and belief factor in to Jonathan’s situation and with something you might be going through. www.My2CentsandNonsense.com

Between Two Worlds: Integrating Transformative Spiritual Experiences

Between Two Worlds: Integrating Transformative Spiritual Experiences

    by

    Since Aug 7, 2023 18:00 UTC

Between Two Worlds is a companion for navigating a human existence that has been touched by a flash of something greater. We share stories from those with one foot in each realm, and how they integrate spirituality into daily life. We discuss beautiful, blissful moments of spiritual awakening, as well as practical challenges – how do I go back to my old life as new me? How do I pay the bills? Though all experiences are unique, I hope you find some comfort in the common thread of these stories – that our greatest challenges can be our greatest gifts. Music by The_Mountain from Pixabay

    2 John & 3 John

    by

    Since Oct 10, 2013 15:35 UTC

John’s second letter is a mere 13 verses. Don’t let that fool you. It offer seven points of spiritual wisdom every Christian should understand. His third letter is only 15 verses, but unites two essential themes: the importance of supporting what is good while correctly what is wrong in the church. Each study is a single lesson of teaching, so why not download and listen to each? You won’t find a more compact study of spiritual truth anywhere.
