Episode Seven: I begin to touch on my bodybuilding days. This multi-part series delves into the ups and downs that came with my participation in the NPC (National Physique Committee) competition for two years. Yes, I was berated and told I was “gross” and “manly” for lifting weights and having muscles. Um yeah… I’m gross and manly even WITHOUT doing a bodybuilding comp so who cares!
“Nobody Cares, Work Harder” = stop making excuses and start putting in the damn work for the things you want out of life. Even when it sucks. Period.
