Nonprofit work can be a mystery to many, whether you’re staff, board, or volunteer. Because of the fantastic opportunity we all have to make our organization in any image we choose, how we act, how we raise money, how we hold meetings, how we get things done, can all be different. I have worked in and around nonprofit for 20 years, preferring a light and fast approach – not too much process or dogma. This podcast sheds light on unconventional thinking around conventional nonprofit challenges. Check it out!

I’m going to do a little project. I have years worth of saves on Facebook. I am going to talk about 3-6 items on my Facebook saves, going backward, until I get to the end, wherever that leads. It may be politics, memes, comics, movies, sports, whatever I have saved. It may also be fun to see how poorly some of this stuff has aged over the years. Let me know what you guys think. I will probably do one day a week, twice depending on how I feel and my schedule. I will be posting other projects here too, and some limited series podcasts as well. Trying to bring this back from the dead 🙂

This is Kala & Neyce, your host of the Straight Like That Podcast. We are here to give y’all the tea on faith. Initially, this podcast started out as an idea that we occasionally joked about. Little did we know, God had a plan for us to use our personalities to speak to others for His Glory. On this podcast, we discuss our faith, what it means to be a follower of Christ, and the many obstacles that come along with being a young Christian in Gen Z culture (or, as some like to call us, “this new generation”). We desire to spread the gospel to many, encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ, and touch on other topics related to our faith. This is where we keep it real and simple. Thanks for listening and may God bless you!
