Full Trial Audio: Staircase Murder – NC v Michael Peterson

Full Trial Audio: Staircase Murder – NC v Michael Peterson

    by

    Since Feb 27, 2025 18:55 UTC

All the audio from all trial days. We remove the long silences, so you hear everything the jury hears.
Michael Peterson is an American novelist who was convicted in 2003 of murdering his second wife, Kathleen Peterson, on December 9, 2001. After eight years, Peterson was granted a new trial after the judge ruled a critical prosecution witness gave misleading testimony. In 2017, Peterson submitted an Alford plea to the reduced charge of manslaughter. He was sentenced to time already served and freed. Peterson’s case is the subject of the French documentary miniseries The Staircase, which started filming soon after his arrest in 2001 and followed events until his eventual Alford plea in 2017. In 2019, he released his own account of his life since his wife’s death in an independently published memoir, Behind the Staircase.

    unSTRATEGIC: Digital Strategy

    by

    Since Dec 31, 2016 15:51 UTC

unSTRATEGIC explores digital strategy. We journey through the many layers of digital strategy including disciplines, methodologies, and tactics. Topics we cover are web & mobile strategy, UX/UI & design, project & account management, business development, project discovery & workshopping, ongoing consulting, opportunities, optimizations, and much more. We share free resources on our blog including templates and documentation to help with digital strategy. We also chat with many industry professionals around their areas of expertise. This podcast is for the thinkers, planners, and doers; or anyone who wants to learn more about digital strategy and its place within the broader business & marketing spheres. I’m your host, Adam James Lamagna, and our goal is to democratize digital strategy, make it accessible, and be (un)strategic about it.

Prose by Tax Pros – Another Article by Hale E. Sheppard

    by

    Since Apr 26, 2021 13:23 UTC

Most tax “articles” published these days are just summaries, not substance. Their lack of context, critical thought, and practical solutions often leaves readers with more questions than answers. Breaking this trend, the articles accessible here provide rare insight about complicated tax issues, making them both interesting and understandable. Please listen in for a series of articles, written by an attorney dedicated to tax disputes and international tax, previously published in major journals, and read by professionals.
