On July 9, 1848, 5-key members of the American Women’s Suffrage Movement met for tea in Waterloo, New York. Over tea, these women expressed their views so passionately that while their meeting had probably started as a calm affair, it quickly became a movement that advocated for women’s rights; advancement, equality, and equity. Conversation and tea proved to be the catalyst needed to spark a revolution. Queens Connecting Over Coffee, is a contemporary tea party, just with coffee. A platform where another spark of revolution begins for women through enlightening and rich conversations.
