“Root Workin” and similar random podcasts

Root Workin is a womanist podcast dedicated to centering the opinions, stories and perspectives of Black Women. Inspired by the medicinal healing conjured while root working, Root Workin Podcast utilizes “Kitchen Conversation” methodologies as a strategy for co-creating a linguistic sacred space. We believe sophisticated sociopolitical thought resides in “The Tea” ​and therefore privilege “Real Talk” as a liberatory tool of resistance. More importantly we hope that this podcast will encourage you to think deeply and work your own roots by looking inward. We’re on a hiatus but we’ll be back!
