    Project Me Podcast

    Project Me Podcast

    by

    Since Jun 15, 2020 14:39 UTC

In each short episode of the Project Me Podcast, Kelly Pietrangeli shares the unfolding story of her journey into personal growth. With the benefit of hindsight, she’s able to discover the hidden gifts contained in life’s challenges. Often funny, always inspirational, it’s an entertaining and uplifting look at the different modalities she’s fallen into, the life-changing books she’s read, and the parts of her ‘Project Me’ never before shared publicly. Start with the short pilot episode 0 and listen in chronological order. Unless you like to watch your favourite Netflix series in random sequence… Each episode ends with a turnaround. An opportunity to breathe and reflect on your own life path. All early episodes come with free PDF’s of journal prompts in the show notes for deeper reflections. You are capable of AMAZING things when you step out of auto-pilot, break free from self-limiting beliefs, and re-write your stories from a place of empowerment. This podcast will show you what’s possible when you open your mind, open your heart – and stay curious. We all need some space in our lives for the magical and unknown. Calling All Cars

    Calling All Cars

    by

    Since Aug 16, 2019 18:22 UTC

Calling all Cars ran from 1933-1939. It’s generally considered to be the inspiration for the old time radio great, Dragnet. Calling All Cars chronicles the L.A. Police Department cases. Although this is an earlier version of the same type of show Dragnet was, there are some differences.

Calling All Cars was introduced at a time when Americans became much more mobile because of the automobile. Criminals could get into a waiting car, and if they got lucky enough, get lost in traffic! Dragnet came out much later, but they both gave a thorough and detailed account of the crime and the criminals behind the crime. Although during the time that Calling All Cars aired, criminals were sometimes glamorized, like Bonnie and Clyde and John Dillinger. Whereas during the later police and crime shows that aired on old time radio, that wasn’t so much the case anymore.

With Dragnet in mind, there is another major difference, Dragnet used the same Police Officers each episode. Calling All Cars used different Police Officers each episode. There were only two recurring characters in Calling All Cars, the narrator Charles Lindsey, and real life LAPD dispatcher Jessie Rosenquist.
