How do I pursue Jesus in my marriage? How do I meet new friends now that I’m married? Am I ready to become a mom? How will marriage change once I have a baby? How can I create a home and a life that I love while staying youthful and enjoying my 20s? Welcome to Love in a Cottage where we will discuss all of these topics and more! Each week, host Paige Geidel brings you honest conversations with wives and mamas along with her personal experiences and stories from marriage and motherhood to encourage you on your journey. Paige navigates topics like friendship, postpartum anxiety and depression, intentional parenting, contentment in seasons of hardship, mental health in marriage, dating and so much more. We know the early years of marriage and motherhood can be challenging, but we believe that God can use each and every season of our lives to grow us, to teach us, and to shape us into the women that He created us to be. If you find yourself craving a community of women who are married, mothering in their 20s, and passionately following Jesus, then Love in a Cottage is for you. Pull up a seat, grab a cup of coffee and get ready to be encouraged.

Life can feel directionless at times and lead to a flood of confusion. Whether it’s navigating relationships with others, ourselves, our mistakes, identities, or values, Kiana wants to talk about it. There is no specific path. At times there is no clear “right” or “wrong” rather a series of choices which begin to clear the path in front of us. Here’s to finding direction without a GPS.

I’ve been told my whole life that I’m a little blunt, not sharp, blunt. I simply lack the finesse required for sharpness. Maybe it’s because I’m a Sagittarius or the fact that I am a sensitive bitch, nonetheless my mind is both a scary and enlightened place, sometimes my mind is kind to me, sometimes it hates me. I sometimes like it here, I sometimes don’t, and the older I get the more I’m fucking okay with that. I don’t have all the answers, nor do I claim to (well to be fair sometimes I really do have the answers, I just don’t like them). I’m on a learning, discovering, and enlightenment journey. I have questions, many questions, for life and the experiences it encompasses. Something I say a lot is the expression “that makes no sense” and usually it slips, sometimes I scream it out, sometimes under my breath when I come to the realization that there is a bigger picture. That many of the things we are raised to believe make sense really don’t. I love love these moments because it means I’ve been given a chance to learn, listen, and grow from someone’s story, experiences, and existence. In these moments my mind got bigger, my capacity for understanding and knowledge expounded and my empathy beamed. So this podcast will simply be me asking a lot of questions, talking, and learning about whatever I want. So come along! You may agree or you may disagree BUT just remember life is full of glitter and glue and we ebb and we flow!

Your 20s are your hustle years, that time when you’re finally out of school and entering the workforce and, if you’re lucky, making enough to move into your own place. You’re getting a lot of responsibilities, but you still don’t feel like a real adult yet. This podcast is about that in-between feeling, about those in-between years.
