X Minus One is widely considered among the finest science fiction dramas ever produced for radio. The first 15 episodes were new versions of Dimension X episodes, but the remainder were adaptations of newly published science fiction stories by leading writers in the field, including Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Frederik Pohl and Theodore Sturgeon, along with a few original scripts. For baby boomer’s that liked The Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone and for all you Trekkies, X Minus One is the forefather of the science fiction you grew up with. You will find that it still is some of the best Science Fiction ever aired. Regardless of you age join us as we explore science fiction with the imagination of our minds and great story telling.

    “Assam & Darjeeling”

“Assam & Darjeeling” is the story of two children who set out to rescue their dead mother from the Underworld — a nightmare place where the mythological desperately tries to keep pace with the world above. The children encounter cell-phone carrying demons, forgotten deities from defunct pantheons waiting tables, and one nasty character called Juniper who takes a particular, personal interest in their quest. A terrific story full of references to mythology, folklore, Dante’s ‘Inferno’, and classic fairy tales, “Assam & Darjeeling” follows in the tradition of writers like Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Philip Pullman.

Author T.M. Camp is best known for his novels “Assam and Darjeeling” and “Matters of Mortology” but there’s over 20 years of writing squirreled away in his files. The good news is, he’s opening up his archives every few weeks to share some of these literary orphans with the rest of us.
