This book is the story of two young men, well they are not exactly boys being 16 and 18. They make a discovery, that seems to indicate a plot to do serious harm, but harm to whom and by who? There is not a lot to go on. Just as they are deep into their research their father discovers what they are up to and surprisingly volunteers his services to help out with their investigation, but then he disappears. Where did he go, when he left home and is he still alive? Can a 16 and 18 year old find their father and also find out just what is going on, without getting into trouble themselves? You’ll just have to follow them on their adventure to find out. Suitable for age 9 -> 109. Contains some romantic elements and what do they say in the movies, oh yes, peril (there was me thinking it was a washing powder).

Space craft start disappearing, but the authorities can’t figure out why, who or what is behind this. There is much fear in the Glaceons family, especially as the eldest son is now a qualified interstellar pilot and regularly traveling through space. Two members of the Shetland covers band First Foot Soldiers started writing songs. It developed into a side project called Wind Up Projectiles. After many deep and involving conversations after songwriting and recording, they decided to record some of those too. The Wind Up Chronicles was born.

Mixerman is a Los Angeles recording engineer who in the summer of 2002, on nothing more than a hunch, began to chronicle the daily events of his Major Label recording session with a bidding-war band, an infamous producer, and a limitless budget. And he did it in real-time—each night posting his entries on the Internet, withholding only the true identities of those he writes about. As Gina Arnold from Metro Newspapers reported at the time: “Mixerman is supposed to be writing about recording techniques, but somehow, through that prism, he has hit upon a gripping story. In this podcast, you will hear an audio dramatization of the story, as narrated by Mixerman, complete with music, foley, sound fx, and character performances by some of the most famous engineers and producers in the music business.
