Greetings & Welcome To Iniversal Sounds. I’m Dj Ras1Heart Throwing Down Some Of The Hottest Reggae, Funk, & Soul Mixes Here in Babylon. 45 Years Of Respect For The Drummer & The Dancer. Grew Up In A Family That Loved Music & Dance. I Can’t Ever Remember A Time Without Music Being A Big Part Of My life. Grew Up By Green Bay Wisconsin & Just Across The Pond From Motown. 1977 Was Great & The Disco Was Pumping The Vibes To The Dance Floor & Everybody Was Dancing. Much Of That Was The Funk/Soul/R&B. One Night Somebody Requested Bob Marley & I Said;”Who Is That”. Well That Started My Journey On The Reggae Train To Zion. Soon Moved To Tempe Arizona By ASU & There Being A Drummer Started Playing In Reggae Bands. Played Reggae And Developed A Love For The Music & The Rasta Culture. Next Came The Dreadlocks & Another Move To Oregon & UofO. At This Point Collected Already 20 yrs. Of Real Jamaican Reggae. I Always Studied Sly Dunbar As A Drummer. Sly & Robbie To Me Are Original Drum & Bass, Dub, & The Dancehall. They Also Mixed Into The Funk, R&B, Soul, & Hip Hop Music. So I Was There With A Love For it All. At This Point I Was Running Sound In Clubs, Drumming, & Started To Dj Again. Then I Started To Chainsaw Carve The Lion Of Judah & Moved Onto Some Of The Biggest Out Door Stages With My Art & Music. Reggae On The River In Humboldt California Being The Most Popular Along With Sierra Nevada World Music Festival Started This Podcast 2005 To Promote Shows Which Now Are A Complete Audio & Visual Presentation Of Ras1Heart The Artist. If you thought the reason you love music was just for entertainment, you were wrong. Music is a natural medicine. The ancient civilizations knew that music can be used in therapeutic ways. Take it from Aristotle and Plato.
DJ JOZENGA already knows that music can trigger memories and can alter one’s mood, but scientific research showed that music can alter human brain and body in other ways.
Listening to music comes with tons of personal benefits. These can range from easing your anxiety to improving your memory.
Before presenting to you these world’s standard musical talents, a research was carried out why you would love to listen to them anyway, coming from the background of the power in music. Following are top 5 reasons to take note before enjoying this awesome journey into sounds as culled from www.elitedaily.com
1. PLAYING MUSIC IMPROVES YOUR LEARNING ABILITIES.
2. IT IMPROVES RECOVERY AFTER A WORKOUT.
3. MUSIC LOWERS STRESS LEVELS.
4. IT IS AN ALTERNATIVE PAINKILLER.
5. MUSIC BOOSTS MEMORY POWER.
Welcome on board music lover partner, Thanks for anticipating in my music playlist curation, music I play-listed before performance in a Mix-Tap, you can call it #iPLAYLIST with @iamJOZENGA. Now you’re rocking, #TurnItUp!!! First time to Link the Caribbean. Enjoy this dub plate in patois as a bonus from YOU, my listener. We’re global.
