You want to feel confident right where you are and as you are but you just don’t know how. You had a rough past and those lies of who you once were keep creeping back in. Girl do i feel you and I want to tell you that you are in the right place. Hello my name is Monica Rojas, a woman on fire for God, homeschool mom, wife, boxing trainer for women, confidence coach, and Founder of BoxFit Queens. After battling with self- abuse , drug & alcohol addiction, depression, lost in my identity , harming & starving my body with brutal weight cuts, I realized that all of the above was still not sufficient enough. Even as a competitive boxer winning championships and having the career it still didn’t bring me true joy and fulfillment. It is only through God’s grace and mercy that I stand here today a confident woman, wife, mother , & coach clean from drugs and willing to serve other women in their healing paths. Today I live with gratitude in who God created me to be and I want to share that with you. As a boxing coach for women I truly believe in the healing power of transforming our mind, body, and spirit. Reina, God has created you with a special and unique purpose that no one else has but you. You are a powerful woman with strength , dignity and made fearless. You are your own unique Proverbs 31 woman. Its time you straighten that crown, lace up your gloves, and dig deeper in your healing journey because you have already been crowned with confidence. I have been consumed by goalkeeping and the topics around the position since I was a young lad. After spells, as a young player, at Leyton Orient, Charlton Athletic and Cambridge United I soon realised that I didn’t have what it takes to reach the top as a player and turned my attention to coaching. Having coached at Tottenham Hotspur, Wycombe Wanders and Fulham I went on to create one of the UK’s most successful goalkeeping coaching businesses and my knowledge and understanding of the game continues to help keepers at all levels. This podcast is simple – every week, I’m going to share insights with you around goalkeeping topics such as techniques, training, diet, mindset and development. I want to give you a look into what it’s like being a goalkeeper coach and, most importantly, help you become a better keeper. Social Security Disability claimants are unfairly maligned; but they are your friends, former co-workers, and your family members. Claimants suffer from bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, chronic back pain, digestive problems, and more. Their bodies and spirits are broken. Most have worked hard and paid into the system. Those who have not been able to work have eked out an existence fighting through a haze of abuse, physical pain, and mental illness. This podcast presents all of their viewpoints in individual, narrative stories. It takes years to fight through the bureaucracy of the Social Security Administration. Claimants lose their homes, jobs, families, self-respect, and sometimes their lives. People degrade and demean them without ever knowing their stories. For levity the podcast will also feature odd and humorous laws as well as discuss popular legal fiction because the law can be humorous (in addition to being a word Charles Dickens said that rhymes with “sass” and starts with A). Yesterday marked the second deadliest day in US history surpassing the Battle of Antietam. COVID-19 rages on as does the rampant corruption in the Trump administration.
