Listen to the entire epic series, which follows Survivors in Los Angeles after the world has been turned upside down.

It begins with “A Story of Survival” which spans from Chapters 1-48. Our survivors band together, fortify a safe haven known as the Tower, and discover that the Infected are far from the biggest threat they will have to face.

The adventure continues with two mini-series:

“Lockdown” – A small group of inmates and prison guards are trapped in the T-block at Twin Towers Jail. They are forced to work together and find a way to escape while the rest of the world ends around them.

“Goldrush” – Set 17 years after the main events of “A Story of Survival”, this is a recollection story that describes the efforts of the four Soldiers as they attempt a side mission to retrieve a suspected stash of gold bullion.

The story of survival continues; the fight is not over.

18 years after the Outbreak, the world is starting to re-organize and rebuild, but many different forms of humanity are still struggling to survive in the aftermath. Every episode, we explore a movie we haven’t seen in like forever, and see if it is still as good as we remember. We use the first part of the show to try and remember what we liked about the movie. Then we go over the movie which includes looking at the poster, taglines, actors, synopsis, and finally, we watch the trailer. Then we predict whether or not we will like it. The second part of the show is when we come back after watching the movie and review it. Usually with hilarious results. We love going back to watch all sorts of genres. Horror, Comedy, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Comedy, Action and Adventure. Doesn’t matter how bad the movie might seem. If we liked it back then, we’ll see if it holds up today.

Shelf Lives is a series of short, original audio plays exploring the fictional lives of the different people we all knew and loved during lockdown, in the one social setting we grew used to for many, many months: the supermarket.

Each episode follows a different character in the same shop, on the same day, at exactly the same time, as they get to grips with both private crises and one very public pandemic. These are short, sharp ten minute insights into people’s lives – plays in podcast form.

During this incredibly difficult time for the theatre industry, On A Wimb are committed to finding ways of creating new theatrical content. They want to work with fellow creatives to produce work that not only responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, but supports fellow theatre professionals and finds a way to help the industry flourish in spite of the circumstances. On A Wimb are currently working on another piece of online content which follows this same principle, which they’ll be announcing shortly.

On A Wimb is a theatre company founded in 2019 and comprised of Beth Colley, Emma Raczkowski, Jack Stanley and Stanley Walton. They formed because they thought we’re digging the planet into a bigger hole and wanted to do something about it (and I mean that was pre-pandemic 2019. Imagine how we feel now). Our work is eco-conscious, exploring issues that affect the planet in sustainable productions that try to lessen the impact on it. In 2019, they were shortlisted for the Les Enfants Terribles Award for emerging theatre companies.
