They say when life gives you lemons you should make lemonade. Making lemonade is not always easy or possible. For us, we found ourselves single in our 40’s with kids at home and starting life over again. Luckily we found each other, online no doubt. When we began blending families, schedules, traditions, and laundry, we discovered lots of lemons. Our podcast is a reflection on how we get through the hard times and enjoy the good times on our new journey together, all with ten kids in tow. Sometimes when life gives you lemons, you make lemon squares. Lemonade might come later.

It is often through pain and suffering that we learn our most profound lessons. It is often through courageously exploring the inner landscapes of our lives and seeking healing that we transform, because much like the immortal words of Robert Frost, “The best way out is always through.” How I Made It Through is offered as a survival guide of sorts; both as inspiration and encouragement to speak our truth, feel our feelings and share our unique and unifying stories “making it through” something challenging. Season Two and beyond goes even deeper though; we inquire into the spiritual significance of enduring and learning from hardship. We do so by interviewing those who have a lot to say about what it means to be more fully alive and connected to our soul’s contracts. You will hear stories from people who have had Near Death Experiences, Past Life and Life Between Life Regressions, as well as psychic mediums, mystics, energy healers and more. If you are either curious or even consumed with delving deeper into what happens when we die, and how we can become more fully alive, then this is the show for you.

Join me, Utah based Sober Twenty-Something, Paige Boner (yes, that is really my last name + yes the podcast name is 100% intentional), for authentic, raw, and fun conversations about something that a lot of us are navigating, our relationship with alcohol. The sober curious movement picked up after 2020 and now has become a nationwide phenomenon. People of all ages and backgrounds are actively choosing not to drink. However, the sober community is still mostly centered around those who struggle with alcoholism and addiction. There is room for more content regarding the active choice to stop drinking. With every episode, my mission is to showcase a world where it is normal to say no to a night out, wine with dinner, and a hangover Saturday morning.
