No Doubt No Fear Only Believe

No Doubt No Fear Only Believe

    by

    Since Jan 18, 2021 19:00 UTC

I created this podcast to encourage believers to follow a perfect example with imperfect actions and results using the Bible as your guide. God had one superstar, Jesus, but as a follower of Jesus, I want to use my mistakes, stories, testimonies, and victories to help attack your doubts and fears by applying the Truth (and the Holy Spirit) to your life and situation. When you listen, you will learn perfection is not the goal, and it has never been. You are the hero of your story, and God wants you to dig into His Word to discover your gifts, strengths, and talents to become a doer of the Word.

We‘re maybe not your average Christian podcast. A few years ago, these kinds of conversations weren‘t really happening, but it‘s a lot more prevalent today. The Salty Dogs Podcast is all about asking questions, and seeking out answers. Where we may take it out on “the Church”, you should know we have always looked inward to bring our own hearts and minds under correction most of all.

Although the show ended in March 2021, our episodes live on. If you‘ve stumbled upon our show and it‘s had any impact on you, whether good or bad, let us know. We take emails at SaltyDogsPodcast@gmail.com

    James Gardner Ministries

    James Gardner Ministries

    by

    Since Jul 4, 2019 04:11 UTC

We are building families and changing lives through the power of God’s Word. A Teaching Center where the Word of God is always taught, uncompromisingly, instant in season and out of season, in order to have an unshakable, world overcoming faith in our hearts.

James and Susan Gardner are the pastors and founders of Jasper Christian Center and James Gardner Ministries, headquartered in the heartland of Northwest Alabama, in the city of Jasper. The church is known as a strong, Word of Faith, multicultural body of believers with an international vision to reach the world with the love of Jesus.

A Story of Faith and Victory!

Pastor James’ story of faith and victory begins in December of 1979, when he had a divine encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. After returning home from an evening of wrongdoing, he heard the voice of the Lord in his bedroom, which said, “James, if you do not get right with me, you will go to a devil’s hell!”

James understood those words and began to search diligently over the next four weeks to learn how to walk with God. It was then in January of 1980, disheartened and frustrated from unsuccessful searching that the Lord led James to turn on the telvision one evening. A prime time special was just beginning as the announcer said, “Hometown USA with Evangelist Kenneth Copeland.”

It was through this historic broadcast that James was introduced to the unadulterated message of the Word of Faith, leading him into a life of faith and victory through the Lord Jesus Christ. In less than a month, James had accepted God’s call upon his life to the ministry. Supernaturally, doors began to open for him to preach the Word and the Lord revealed to him that he would one day start a church in his hometown.

Susan, a native of Enterprise, Alabama grew up a Baptist with a deep hunger for more of God. She was introduced to the message of faith in 1981 and began to attend a Word of Faith church where she began to grow spiritually. Susan was working as a nurse in Birmingham, when friends at a mid-week church service introduced her and James in 1986. They attended a Phil Driscoll Christmas concert for their first date. Realizing God’s divine providence, they married on July 11th of 1987 and began working together in the ministry.

After the birth of their first child in 1989, they returned to James’ hometown, Jasper, Alabama and began the church that the Lord had spoken to James approximately 10 years earlier. With the Spirit of God as their only means of advertisement they held Jasper Christian Center’s first church service on July 9, 1989 with every chair filled. Today, JCC is a strong church family made up of people from all walks of life from over five counties, working together to reach the world for Jesus from Jasper.

Susan and James discovered their maximum joy and love as God has blessed them with four wonderful children. Averill their oldest daughter, is married to Jeremiah Johnson. Jeremiah and Averill have two children, John Parker and Ezra. Their middle daughter Sarah, is married to Josh Bland. Kristin their youngest daughter, and James Jr, their son.

Pastors James and Susan Gardner are working diligently to reach people with the glorious gospel message that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Their ministry includes, teaching the Word, praying for the sick, and believing God for miracles in the lives of people. With a heart for helping young ministers, they conduct Minister’s Conferences, which give those attendees the courage, and wisdom they need for successful ministry. Through the means of church services, teaching seminars, television broadcasts, CD ministry, and the Internet, James and Susan are proclaiming the Truth of God’s Word with revelation and clarity.

Living a life of expectancy, they are ever reaching the World for Jesus!

Ephesians: The Calling of the Saints

Ephesians: The Calling of the Saints

    by

    Since Aug 12, 2018 14:00 UTC

The Epistle to the Ephesians is, in many ways, the crowning glory of the New Testament. But perhaps this letter ought not to be called “Ephesians” for we do not really know to whom it was written. The Christians at Ephesus were certainly among the recipients of this letter, but undoubtedly there were others. In many of the original Greek manuscripts there is a blank where the King James translation has the words “at Ephesus;” just a line where the names of other recipients were apparently to be filled in. That is why the Revised Standard Version does not say, “To the saints at Ephesus,” but simply “To the saints who are also faithful in Christ Jesus…”

1 John: The Fruit of Fellowship with Christ

1 John: The Fruit of Fellowship with Christ

    by

    Since Aug 26, 2018 14:00 UTC

There are two of Jesus’ disciples whom I would particularly like to have known in the days of their earthly life. One is Peter, and the other is John. I like these two men. I am especially impressed by the change that fellowship with the Lord Jesus produced in their lives. This is what intrigues me about these two. Peter, as you know, was erratic, impulsive, brash. As someone has well said, “Whenever Peter enters a scene, it’s always with a thud.” He seems to have a gift for putting his foot in his mouth — he suffered from hoof-in-mouth disease. Yet the Lord made him a steady, stable, dependable rock, as his name implies. He became a rallying point, a gathering point for the Christians in the days of the persecutions which broke out in the first century. It was only because he was with the Lord, and knew the Lord. Most of the change took place after the Lord’s death and resurrection, however, so we do not need to feel that it was the personal presence of Jesus that changed these men. He changed them after he died and rose again, just as he can change us. John was the other one who was dramatically changed by our Lord. He was a young man, the youngest of all the disciples. In fact, many scholars feel that he was a teenager when he first started to follow the Lord. Perhaps he was seventeen or eighteen years of age. Along with his brother, James, he was a hot-headed young man, given to sharp and impulsive utterances with a tendency toward blowing off steam. He was probably a loudmouth, because Jesus nicknamed him Son of Thunder. That was our Lord’s gentle way of labeling John’s problem. He just kept the thunder rolling all the time. So our Lord called both James and John Sons of Thunder. But John became the apostle of love. He was noted for his gentleness and his graciousness and his goodness. He was called “The Virgin.” As far as we know, he never married. There is no record that he ever did. But he was called “virgin” primarily because of the purity of his life. He became a man who was characterized by such an outstanding devotion and love for the Lord Jesus, that all his life he was singled out as the apostle of love.

    Truth, Judgment and Eternity

    by

    Since Nov 6, 2010 10:00 UTC

What you hold as true, is it really Truth? Will what you believe get you through on Judgment Day? Are you keeping to the pattern of sound teaching held out in Scripture? (2Timothy 1:13) In this series, Truth, Judgment and Eternity, I intend to deliver messages that check the solidness of our Christian Foundation so as to guard the good deposit that was entrusted to us as Christ’s Ambassadors on this earth. (2Timothy 1:4)
