For some unknown reason, men don’t realize that we all struggle with many of the same things in life. We look at others and think they’ve got it all together. Often not the case! Each 5-question episode will explore the role faith plays in the lives of everyday guys like us. We’ll discuss what prevents us from living in the present; how ego, pride, and control affect us; and how to allow faith to be more of a driver in our lives.

Blueprint For Living is a weekly rummage through the essential cultural ingredients — design, food, travel, gardens, fashion — for a good life. Separate stories for bite size listening. Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier are considered titans of the modern movement but in this week’s Iconic Designs, Colin Bisset examines the contribution that women made to some of their most famous designs. It’s only been recently acknowledged that Lilly Reich was behind much of Mies’s furniture, and Charlotte Perriand behind all of Le Corbusier’s.

Jill Johns and Anita Brown believe in, practice, and advocate for guilt-free self-care. Beyond physical practices that keep us well, the women discuss self care that often *isn’t* talked about: acknowledging emotions and letting them inform decisions that will help make our relationships grow deeper and stronger. Bringing barriers to emotional and physical self care into awareness is always step one with these two. Each week they offer a raw conversation about anything that has to do with practicing self-care in a society that applauds busy, stoic, ladder climbers.
