There really is another way to live life on earth. Jesus is quoted describing it in Matthew 6 and in other places. Some who followed Him describe it in other places in the New Testament. Here we discuss this new kind of life. All Nations Fellowship Info: www.WordChurch.biz www.myspace.com/FirehouseOKC www.hubpages.com/hub/OklahomaCityChurches

Join host Corey Witt for interviews with worship musicians, as he explores musical questions of growth through the lens of practical applications and practical skills – hence the title: “How the Soup is Made.” We’re going behind the scenes on what skills it takes to get better and better at doing the work of a worship musician and practitioner. “How the Soup is Made” is a part of the Center for Worship Leadership Podcast Network, for more information and other shows see us at cwlonline.org.

Believe it or not, an AM radio station in Northfield was foolish enough to give members of the Northfield Union of Youth (also known as The Key) a radio show every Saturday. Originally broadcasting at the god-awful time of 9:00 a.m, they have since been on at the slightly more manageable time of 11:00 a.m. The show, broadcasting live every Saturday on 1080 AM KYMN Radio in Northfield, is NOW MOVING to the station’s very own podcasting site. So please make sure you look for the most recent shows here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=317913830 [itunes pic]
First and foremost, let us apologize for the lack of episodes through August. On the 8th, there was a problem recording the show, on the 15th, only Kev-E-Fly showed up and he only did half of a show (long story), the whole cast took the 22nd off, and now finally that brings us to the 29th of August. Secondly, we are moving to a new podcasting site very soon. 1080AM KYMN Radio (the station we broadcast on) has very graciously offered to have our show on their station’s podcast, rather than what we have been doing– podcasting off of a different service. This will more than likely start with the episode on September 5th, and you can find the station’s podcast here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=317913830 Thirdly, here’s what happened “in this episode” of the show: Dan The Man, Kev-E-Fly and Antsy Adams talk about Bob Dylan lurking in front of homes in New Jersey, getting a free scorpion with your meal at McDonald’s, iPhones exploding in France, and Adam and Dan learn to drop their vowels when speaking. We also play brand new music from The Twilight Sad and Volcano Choir, as well as tunes from the Smashing Pumpkins, Bat For Lashes and Friendly Fires.

Key Life isn’t for everyone. If you want the Bible to be a “book of rules,” if you think there is something unspiritual about laughter and dangerous about freedom and if you define faithfulness as conformity to Christian stereotypes, then Key Life probably isn’t for you. But if you’re interested in an honest, non-manipulative and thoughtful presentation of Biblical truth in the context of Christ’s unconditional love, Key Life may be for you. If you need to hear the hopeful truth that God isn’t mad at you, Key Life is for you.
