“A Better Life?” explores how America’s failed response to COVID-19 has reshaped immigrants’ lives and their relationship to the United States. Each episode tells a different immigrant story and examines how the crisis has challenged or changed that person’s ideas of what it means to be American. The show also includes conversations with immigrant elders — grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles — to hear how they are coping during this time, and what they have learned over the years that can help the rest of us survive today’s challenges.

A series of lectures in English delivered by Sh. Fahd Salem Bahammam to guide the new Muslims who currently know their right path to Allah. This series is to strengthen and preserve their belief by clarifying the pillars of Islam and faith. It also shows the behavior that each Muslim has to follow when dealing with people whether they are old or young, Muslims or non-Muslims. Additionally, he provides some notes about the permissible and prohibited financial dealings. Besides, he mentions the factors that increase one’s belief and help Muslims to abide by Allah’s commands. Afterwards, he refers to the obstacles (e.g. lusts, misconceptions, and ignorance) in the path of the Muslims that prevent him from keeping on his way to Allah. He illustrates the prerequisites of sincere repentance which is between the person and Allah without a mediator. Finally, he gives a word for the new Muslim.

Started in 2019, “Getting Ignorant With It” was born from the perceived differences between its hosts, comedienne Shonda Nicole and critic Amari Allah. However, through conversations about the latest in movies, television, and pop culture, as well as topics such as family, trauma, and life, there was understanding, empathy, and commonality discovered. But, often, it’s just a slew of inappropriate jokes, anecdotes, and our hosts being/getting ignorant.
