When award nominated screenwriter Chip Thompson was 14, he was mildly obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, comic books and a whole manner of geeky pop culture. So he decided to write his own series, centering around what it would be like if he and best friend/Co host MC were supernatural, crime fighting ninjas in Tokyo. It was as terrible as it sounds, full of plagerism, clumsy references and out right stealing of ideas mixed with its own unique blend of B Movie horror and superhero plots and ideas. Now, 17 years later, Chip and MC read through each episode of this series (much to Chip’s chagrin), brought to life with their unique acting skills. Whether you’re a Buffy fan, or enjoy works such as Gareth Margenghi’s Darkplace, My Dad Wrote a Porno, the Evil Dead or just like to hear a grown man wince at his teenage ramblings, we think you’ll enjoy the How I Ripped Off Buffy The Vampire Slayer podcast. Available on iTunes, SoundCloud, YouTube and Stitcher Radio. You can find us on Facebook at facebook.com/howirippedoffpodcast and on Twitter, @HowIRippedOff

The Road Case features the four women of award-winning country band Nice Horse. With each of them coming from very different musical backgrounds, they had no idea their worlds would one day collide into starting a country band together – but they did, and it worked. The ladies have had major ups and downs along the way, resulting in experiences that have been gut-grabbingly hilarious, incredibly trying, occasionally heartwarming, and sometimes downright idiotic. Hop into the tour van and join Katie, Brandi, Krista & Tara in The Road Case: stories of life on the road, with some of the friends they’ve met along the way.
