Resiliency Roadmap: A Podcast for Nurses

    by

    Since Mar 18, 2021 19:45 UTC

Resiliency and self-care have always been essential to those in the caring professions. As the pandemic endures, tending to one’s own well-being is perhaps more important than ever for nurses. Join host Maddy Pearson, chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Clinical Services at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, as she interviews guests about trauma-informed care, sleep health, moral distress, joy and other topics to help nurses prioritize wellness and build resiliency. Guests will reflect on their own experiences and provide resources to support other nurses on the journey toward resiliency. We hope that these conversations provide ideas and inspiration for you to start or continue making self-care a regular part of your routine.

C-Change Show- Changing Business Culture for GOOD

    by

    Since May 10, 2022 21:00 UTC

Since the Great Resignation, culture has become paramount in recruiting and retaining top talent. Fairness and equity have become deal breakers for many job seekers. As a culture consultant, Change Management Specialist and Talent Optimization Partner with Predictive Index, I decided to do this show because I started to meet CEO’s and Founders that were… well, “white guys” that recognized that their homogenized leadership teams were leaving them blind Two risks that could only be seen from different points of view and different life experiences. They figured out how to diversify their top leadership teams. These guys are getting it right, even 4xing their annual revenue.I know there are a lot of other white guys out there who see the limitations of homogenized leadership teams, but they’re just not sure how to step into a new way of thinking or help their executive teams see the financial benefits of inclusion.I wanted to celebrate and amplify these self-described “rich white guys” who have figured it out and want to help other men do the same. Although you will be hearing predominantly from white male senior leaders, there will also be plenty of perspective from female and black CEO’s, executives and business leaders who offer their unique strategies and solutions.Join me every week where we will get into how the sausage is made, because when DEI is done right, it ain’t no Kumbaya situation – it’s messy and awkward and yet these emotional intelligence ninjas are getting it done.I have a no judgement, no blame, no shame policy here. The interviews are candid and entertaining and sometimes they can get a little raw so be fair warned, the language can get salty. If a shitshow is offensive to you, this is not your podcast : )Let’s dive into the C-Change!

Corner of Hope and Wellness with Carrie Hill

    by

    Since May 3, 2021 17:00 UTC

I love stories of Overcoming and Becoming. Hi, welcome to the Corner of Hope and Wellness with Carrie Hill. Each week I’ll bring you a thirty minute, bite-sized conversation with real people sharing real stories of overcoming challenges and finding resiliency. I created this podcast so that I could explore the intersection between hope and wellness. It’s based on my own lived experience with depression, anxiety and overcoming an eating disorder. My definition of hope is a desire for a GREAT outcome – So, when I talk about that intersection, I’m talking about that place where we experience those sparks along our path that inspire us and lead us to a place of resiliency. My guests will share their day to day tools that have helped them along their journey. My desire is that not only are our stories relatable, but they will inspire you to invest in yourself through this adventure called life.

    by

    Since Jan 14, 2021 17:00 UTC

Sara DuMond hosts a podcast inspired by one of her favorite toasts: Here’s to Strong Women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them. “May We Be Them” is a podcast that explores the lives and stories of strong women. Strong women come in all different forms, walks of life, and backgrounds. The through-line, is that the strong women we highlight are all living out their life’s purpose in a way that leaves nothing on the table. Whether it’s through their work, their creative endeavors, their volunteer work, their faith-based activities, or their activism, these women are setting an example of what it means to recognize the gifts they’ve been given and then share them with the world. If you’re struggling to know how to tap into the gifts you’ve been given, we hope these stories will inspire you and light a fire within you.

Most women struggle to answer “HELL YES!” to one or all of these questions! So, if that’s you, you are not alone! Getting your life together is not a one-size-fits-all journey, and self-love is not a one-off thing you are “supposed” to do! And yet, the questions remain: How do you get your life together? How do you love yourself? Hell, how do you create inner peace? It’s much more straightforward than you think! Twice a week Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, renowned Life Coach to women, Mindfulness expert, Master-Level Advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Meditation Instructor, HeartMath Practitioner, Sound Healing Therapist, and Emotional Intelligence therapist, Danielle A. Vann guides you through the blueprint, the how, she masterfully created that has changed thousands of women’s lives. Vann combines psychology, mind and spiritual healing, somatic, neuroscience, mindfulness, meditation, purpose work, and the development of emotional intelligence in a no-BS, real talk, unapologetic proven strategy that flips conventional, ineffective talk therapy on its head. Think of this as your total mind, body, and soul makeover! If you are ready to break down the barriers to your inner peace, shine a light on the things that keep you feeling “stuck,” release perceived limits, shake up your relationships, both with yourself and others, find better thoughts and behaviors, relax anxiety and stress, and learn the practices that the most mindful and successful women use daily, girl, this is the place for you!
