Salty Locks w/ Amir K
The podcast of comedian Amir K.
Lifelong Supergirl fanatic Cori joins newbie James on a run-down of every single appearance of the Maid of Might, sanity and continuity be damned! Time-travelling super-orphans? Gaslighting Men of Steel? More costume changes than you can shake a golden key at? Sounds like a job for Cori & James!

In their dynamic return, your hosts escape from the Phantom Zone, and like every criminal there, they are far too invested in the life of a teenage superheroine! Meanwhile, Comet reaches an all-time low for horses in capes, The Legion Of Superheroes get red-pilled by space, Supergirl’s Doppelganger begins her Five-Point Revenge, and the most SWOLE villain of them all begins his quest for power… by FLEXIN’. Academic fraud that unmakes space and time? What was once the perfect man, instead a protoplasm shame? And… could it be… a WINNER for our fan art contest?! This looks like a job for Cori & Jamie (long story)!

A podcast about odd jobs, crazy jobs, jobs we’ve had, jobs we’ve quit, and jobs we’ve been fired from. Hear comedians Taylor Dowdy and Joey Z riff on anything humans have done to earn a living. Remember the Alamo? Who needs the Alamo when you have Taylors VHS hut. Joey reminisces about working at a game show for children. Taylor loves Cronenberg and Joey’s too high to remember who that is. Joey introduces Taylor to the job of The Shomer. Or as Taylor likes to call it, the human dream catcher. Craigzylist special: crime scene cleanup supervisor.

Every week, “WHAT THE RIFF?!?” takes a look at a ROCK AND ROLL album that debuted or peaked on the U.S. Billboard charts during a random month between 1965-1995. Four friends discuss the artists and 4 tracks from the album as it plays in the background. Then we riff on 4 “staff picks” of other artists that were also in the charts during that month and year. You’ll hear some familiar tunes as well as some deeper cuts and entertainment tracks as we share a little look into the culture and happenings of that day— having fun recalling that “old time rock and roll.” We hope to bring back memories for you — and we encourage you to find and purchase the tracks and albums from iTunes, Spotify or your other favorite music service. You’ll find each episode with a short blog on this site. Please subscribe so you don’t miss any release! We also invite you to follow us and learn more about us @whattheriffpodcast on Facebook.
