    Since Oct 12, 2018 17:20 UTC

Nonprofit work can be a mystery to many, whether you’re staff, board, or volunteer. Because of the fantastic opportunity we all have to make our organization in any image we choose, how we act, how we raise money, how we hold meetings, how we get things done, can all be different. I have worked in and around nonprofit for 20 years, preferring a light and fast approach – not too much process or dogma. This podcast sheds light on unconventional thinking around conventional nonprofit challenges. Check it out!

    Welcome To Molalla!

    Welcome To Molalla!

    by

    Since Jun 2, 2020 10:00 UTC

Come join us for an informal weekly conversation about life in the small city. The small city of Molalla, Oregon. We’re about 35 driving miles south of Portland but light-years away in lifestyle. Molalla is a rural community – set among farms, ranches, rivers, and mountains. Our conversations will focus on what’s happening in town as well as whatever else we start talking about! We’re fun and informative, apolitical, unstructured. And we’re witty and clever – so much so that we’ve both subscribed to the podcast. We’d like to ask you to do the same! So, listen in and find out what it’s like in Molalla. First of all, this Saturday the 6th of June, there will be a parade through Molalla, starting at the high school at 1 pm and making its way all over town. (Look at the Welcome To Molalla FB group or page for a copy of the map). Join us for an interview with Maddy Brinkman, a senior at Molalla High School and hear what it was like to be a high school senior during COVID. Maddy talks about the prom, the graduation, moving off to college and lots more. Yes, yes, I know there’re still audio problems, but I think from here on out we’ll be good. This after a lot of Googling.

The pilot was commissioned by the Northcott Theatre’s The Time Is Now Project & the series is supported by Arts Council England.

The series was created and written by Laura Doble, Alice Higginson-Clarke and Siân Keen of Scratchworks Theatre. Music for the series was created by Jack Dean. The series was edited by Andrew Armfield.
