    Legacy through Motherhood

    Legacy through Motherhood

    by

    Since Nov 28, 2019 19:30 UTC

The Legacy through Motherhood podcast has a basic mission of generational change. We will be having conversations that center around 5 main topics: Faith, Finances, Health, Mindset and Marriage. Some of us are fortunate enough to have exemplary role models in one or more of these areas, while others are not.

When it comes to these topics, I think we all share the same desire to see our children succeed, especially in areas we struggle with- but how? How do we teach them to be successful in areas we haven’t figured out for ourselves? How do we model, teach, train and equip our children to succeed when we do not have an accessible role model for marriage, healthy finances or whatever it might be? How do we make the time to intentionally leave the legacy that we want to leave for our children? How do we break strongholds and generational cycles when we still feel the weight and challenges of them?

This podcast will be full of practical ideas, empowering stories, guest speakers, biblical and scientific proof behind different topics, resource recommendations, and so much more. My promise to you is to help you find your grit as a mama while covering you in grace. Would you join me as we learn how to leave the legacy that we WANT to leave for our children? We WILL do this by challenging ourselves and by ultimately passing our knowledge onto our children.

I can’t wait to continue this conversation! And girl, don’t forget as you go into this day, whatever goal you are pursuing or whatever area you are struggling with – you are already enough.

    Soundworks by Terrence Parker

    Soundworks by Terrence Parker

    by

    Since Dec 12, 2019 04:25 UTC

Terrence Parker (known to many as “TP”) born and raised in Detroit, has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music and widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones. Terrence’s first DJ gig was for his classmate’s eight grade graduation party in June of 1982. While a sophomore at Southfield High School in 1983, Terrence worked at his school’s radio station WSHJ 88.3 FM as an on-air DJ, and in 1988, Terrence released his first Techno EP as part of Separate Minds with Lou Robinson and Marc Kinchen. In 1993, Terrence established his own music label Intangible Records. Fast forward into 2019, Terrence has performed as a DJ in 51 countries throughout the world and has released more than 100 recordings on his Intangible Records label and various labels including Axis/Purpose Maker, Planet E, Sony, EMI, Defected, Nervous, Kingstreet, and Purple Music. Terrence has chart hits with his songs “Love’s Got Me High”, “The Question” and Number # 1 charting albums like “Life On The Back 9” and “Detroit After Dark”. His 2019 “Omnipotent” album on Quantize Recordings and remix for Jeff Mills’ “IF” (featuring Merachka) on Axis/Purpose Maker show Terrence to be a driving force in today’s global music market. Terrence has played at the world’s top rated clubs and festivals including Movement Festival (Detroit), Ministry Of Sound (London), Panorama Bar (Berlin), Djoon (Paris), Output (NYC), El Row (Barcelona), Propaganda (Moscow), and Fabric (Madrid). He has established himself as one of electronic music’s legendary Producer/DJs. www.terrenceparkermusic.com tp@terrenceparkermusic.com [itunes pic]

Story of Manhattan, The by Charles Hemstreet (1866 – )

    by

    Since Jan 1, 1970 00:00 UTC

The history of New York City is told as a story, in few words. It begins with Henry Hudson’s discovery of Manhattan in 1609. And it finishes in 1898 when the island of Manhattan becomes the Borough of Manhattan of Greater New York. (Summary by Guero.)
