Mystic Babylon: S.F. Open Mic Poetry Podcast/TV

Mystic Babylon: S.F. Open Mic Poetry Podcast/TV

    by

    Since Oct 16, 2007 22:14 UTC

This is the San Francisco Haight Street poetry podcast TV, Mystic Babylon, created by John Rhodes. On this podcast we will have all the poets from the open mics, and poetry readings in the San Francisco Bay Area, on this program. Type in “Mystic Babylon” to iTunes and subscribe. Earlier podcasts will be archived on the web podcast pages that can be a accessed by big “Click Here” pictures, where it says Program Archives. To download the archives to iTunes go to “Advanced” in the iTunes Menu, click on “Subscribe to Podcast” and type in: http://mysticbabylon.podomatic.com/ archive/rss2.xml. I don’t recomend you copy and paste that code, but type it in, because sometimes pasting it will leave incorrect gaps in letters. iTunes will automatically download the archives (all the old shows). There is a simple picture tutorial on how to do this on the Mystic Babylon Web site. Visit my serial novel podcast of my book: Little Bird Told Me, at http://littlebirdtoldme.podomatic.com . You can buy all my books from: authorhouse.com , or a paid audio version of my novel from audible.com . To make the Media Player display a larger image, click numerous times the CTRL key, while clicking the + key. [itunes pic]
Dear Poetry Podcast TV Friends. This is John Rhodes director of the San Francisco Open Mic Poetry Podcast TV Show. Due to the high expense of running this site here at http://mysticbabylon.podomatic,com , please shift to watching this to either http://sanfranciscopoetry.blip.tv or in the near future to http://mysticbabylon.blip.tv. http://mysticbabylon.blip.tv will eventually have all my old podcasts on it possibly with photoslide shows added, but look for the http://sanfranciscopoetry.blip.tv as being the main site. Also if you would like to view these videos on the Roku box or Boxee box, they are available there on the blip.tv ap on your TV, if you search there for the title San Francisco Open Mic Poetry Podcast TV. For a full listing of my sites, visit http://rhodespoetry.com. I still have to update the listing there but that is where I will put my list. Also. please visit archive.org by clicking on the image in this sites sidebar to see videos not in my podcasts, of long poetry festivals and events. Thank-you for your patience and please keep watching. This site will be downgraded in April, so be prepared for the change.

    Lilith Rising

    Lilith Rising

    by

    Since Jun 6, 2012 13:59 UTC

With great pleasure, Melting Radio presents AUDIO SHOWS dedicated to broadcasting old school sci-fi themes with modern lyrical writing. We pride ourselves in giving you new, unique twists on traditional independent short films. Hundreds upon hundreds of hours went into the creation of the first episode of Lilith Rising, which includes a tripped out monologue performed by Isabella Valentine as the hologram and the role of commander played by Karen Richter. The crew provided voiceovers, a unique musical compositional score, sound effects, and many retakes — we even hired a lively announcer with our little budget! Additional sound effects provided by Digital Juice Sound FX. The plot strategically unfolds over the course of what hopefully will become 7 seasons of 15 episodes each, if our audience desires more.

    Clonmel Junction Arts Festival Podcast

    by

    Since May 20, 2021 15:53 UTC

The Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this July. And to celebrate we are launching a brand new podcast series with a new episode every Thursday from the 27th May all the way to the festival which takes place from the 3rd to the 11th July in Clonmel, Tipperary.

Our festival is one of the most prominent arts festivals in the South East and we are proudly celebrating our 20-year history of bringing music, theatre, visual arts and spoken word to Clonmel with our 2021 festival themed Identity: What’s in a Name?

We really look forward to sharing a new episode every Thursday where we will be looking back on memorable festival highlights and looking forward and giving information on upcoming events and interesting interviews with artists coming to Clonmel for this years’ festival in July.

We would ask you to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts, so you are the first to get every episode each Thursday. We cannot wait to share great memories and stories with you over the coming weeks.

What was it like last time?

What was it like last time?

    by

    Since Jul 31, 2012 09:51 UTC

The 29th of July 1948.. The biggest sporting event in the world comes to London…. Billed as the Austerity Games with post war rationing, no new venues were built, athletes were housed in existing accommodation, and some countries weren’t even allowed to participate. The event was destined for disaster..except London wasn’t having that. What was it like last time? We talk to the people who were there. Oxfordshire’s 1948 torch bearers, athletes and the people who lived it through it. What was it like last time on JACKfm thanks to Abbeyfield House Oxford…Independent community living with help when you want it.

Fogland Lighthouse shines a light on the obscure, overlooked and downright weird stories from British History, with words and music by award-winning writer and composer Jack Dean. Sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, often a bit of both.

    Good Night

    Good Night

    by

    Since Jun 21, 2006 13:00 UTC

Sometimes it’s hard to get to sleep. You just can’t seem to say goodnight to yourself. Booze helps sometimes…or pills. But that’s a big step down a bad street. “Good Night” puts a smile on your face, tells you a bedtime story, helps you chuck the day’s problems, gives you a verbal back rub, and tucks you in for a safe, sound, sleep. Dick Summer’s voice puts a strong and friendly arm around your shoulder. You hear him on television commercials all day. But when it’s getting late, and you want to “take the day and shove it,” but you can’t seem to say good night to yourself… Dick’s Podcast is a quiet place to rest your head…a safe place to hide a hurting heart…a gentle place to fall. It’s a comfortable way to tell yourself, “Good Night.”

    Almost History

    Almost History

    by

    Since Apr 6, 2017 04:00 UTC

Almost History. Always incredible. What if … ? Almost History tells the amazing true stories behind the aborted missions, cancelled plans, utopian dreams, failed revolutions and hubristic designs that didn’t quite make it from the drawing board to change the real world. Rescued from the footnotes, archives and passing references, each episode explores what almost happened and explains why it didn’t.
