The Sinclair Method Podcast
There is a harm reduction protocol to help people reduce alcohol consumption. It is a medication assisted treatment plan known as The Sinclair Method, or TSM. Based on the theories of Nobel Prize winning scientist, Ivan Pavlov, TSM utilizes an effect known as pharmacological extinction. The basics of the method involve taking a naltrexone tablet one hour before having a drink. Of course, there is much to discuss. This is a fascinating alternative way of quitting alcohol gradually which has a 78% success rate.
