It may be hard to admit it, but the dreams you had for yourself didn’t end when motherhood began. You’re a mom, but you’re also a wife, sister, daughter, career woman, and/or entrepreneur and sometimes it’s hard to remember who you were BEFORE motherhood. If you love being a mama, but feel like you’ve lost a bit (or a lot) of yourself along the way, then this podcast is for you. It’s the witty, authentic, and sometimes sarcastic conversation that millennial mamas need to have with one another. The Taking Back YOU Momcast is hosted by Christian Women’s Motivational Speaker, Business Coach, and Certified Fitness Trainer, Dani Carter Iddins. She’s a wife, she’s a boy mom, she’s an entrepreneur, and she’s had to fight — tooth and nail– to take herself back after becoming a mom. Her mission is to help millennial mamas who are “in the trenches” of motherhood reclaim themselves so that they can lay the groundwork for making their dreams a reality.

The Nerd Skool Podcast, part of the Queen City Podcast Network, began when nerd-curious Joe Hunsaker of “History for Jerks” realized that he knew more experienced nerds in his life beyond simply his former entertainment writer brother Andy. After witnessing many spirited debates between his co-workers – the Sith-identifying Arthur “ArtStar” Lovely and the “Secret Nerd” Tiffany Bryant-Jackson – he decided he wanted to learn how to become a nerd himself. The three convened the Nerd Skool to educate Joe on nerd culture and nerd media, as well as the benefits of “actually paying attention to movies.” They are soon to begin a course on Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Saint Georges Road is the the 19th studio album from The Black Sorrows and was released to the world on Sept. 10 through Ambition Records. As if to come full circle for this milestone release, Joe reunited with Grammy nominated Peter Solley – producer of Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons’ breakthrough album Screaming Targets (‘79) that featured Joe’s first Top 40 hits, Hit and Runand Shape I’m In.
Saint Georges Road showcases 11 original tracks written by Joe Camilleri and his long-time writing partner Nick Smith. Before they embarked on the project, Peter Solleyasked Joe one question, “What kind of record do you want to make?” Joe replied, “A good one.” They have certainly achieved that judging by the reviews coming in.
The Black Sorrows continue to be one Australia’s most prolific and enduringly popular bands renowned for their high-energy live shows, musicianship, and infectious, roots-soaked blues rock. They’ve sold more than two million albums to date and won an ARIA Award for Best Group.
Joe Camilleri has been at the forefront of Australian music for decades as the leader of Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons and The Black Sorrows and as writer of radio anthems Hit & Run, Shape I’m In, Chained To The Wheel, Harley & Rose and Never Let Me Go.
Joe Camilleri is an ARIA Hall of Famer and at 73 years old, a rock’n’roll lifer. Not ready to hang up his boots just yet, he’s working on his 51st album. It’s what he does.
