Think about all of the things you consider every day to help keep yourself, your loved ones, and your community happy, healthy, and hopeful. Now consider this: There is an ever-growing body of research demonstrating significant negative impacts, for yourself and the ones you love, in the consumption of pornography. It can change the way you think, harm your ability to connect with other people, and can contribute to changing the world in negative ways. Join us every other week as we consider the harmful effects of pornography using science, facts, and personal accounts. Consider Before Consuming is brought to you by Fight the New Drug (FTND). FTND is a non-religious and non-legislative nonprofit that aims to raise awareness on the harmful effects of pornography and its links to sexual exploitation using only science, facts, and personal accounts. Fight the New Drug collaborates with a variety of qualified organizations and individuals with varying personal beliefs, affiliations, and political persuasions. As FTND is a non-religious and non-legislative organization, the personal beliefs, affiliations, and persuasions of any of our team members or of those we collaborate with do not reflect or impact the mission of Fight the New Drug.

Welcome to It’s Hard — a sober curious podcast + community that has authentic conversations allowing people to learn, grow and feel less alone as they reimagine their relationship with alcohol. Join me, Utah based Sober Twenty-Something, Paige Boner (yes, that is really my last name + yes the podcast name is 100% intentional), for authentic, raw, and fun conversations about something that a lot of us are navigating, our relationship with alcohol. The sober curious movement picked up after 2020 and now has become a nationwide phenomenon. People of all ages and backgrounds are actively choosing not to drink. However, the sober community is still mostly centered around those who struggle with alcoholism and addiction. There is room for more content regarding the active choice to stop drinking. With every episode, my mission is to showcase a world where it is normal to say no to a night out, wine with dinner, and a hangover Saturday morning. I hope you feel seen and understood through my show, to know you aren’t alone in the journey to reimagine your relationship with alcohol. I am not an expert, just learning right alongside you and hoping to find community in the hard stuff. Join me for new episodes every Monday — I hope these make mondays a little less hard. @itshardpodcast // www.itshardpodcast.com

Do you wonder if you’re ever going to find your ‘thing’/’your purpose’? Do you want to create peace in your mind instead of anxiety and chaos? If you are asking yourself any of these questions then this is the podcast for you! Brandi grew up with a family that struggled with addiction and mental illness. Similar to many growing up in addiction and chaos, she aimed for perfectionism, control and is a recovering codependent, letting go of the fact that she can’t fix those around her until they help themselves first! She has a passion for helping recovering perfectionists, codependents, over-thinkers, and those paralyzed by fear… because that’s the way she lived the majority of her life. She will challenge you to heal what has hurt you, get vulnerable, use your story and most importantly to get out of your head and into your heart! She wants to transform generations to come by showing them the importance of prioritizing your mental health, growth, happiness and fulfillment over all else through encouraging vulnerable conversations, using inspiring stories, and helping those use their pain for purpose. It’s time to get out of your head and into your heart & finally create joy in your life! Sit back, relax and take in these inspiring stories and practical steps to becoming not only well but Wildly Well. What do you say? One of the biggest Happenness moments for us has been moving to a foreign country and creating something out of nothing. Although our hows and whys are different, the core of our stories is the same. You see – we all have it in us: the spark, the fire to achieve to be the greatest version of ourselves. At the same time, we all encounter roadblocks whether it be unforeseen setbacks or rejections, to allowing negativity fill our minds. BUT, what happens when you reach that state of harmony in your mind? When you have your ‘aha’ moment? Everything just flows and we see it all come to place — & that’s @ItsCalledHappenness. It’s not a constant but it’s a state that we can all tap into. We can’t wait for your to hear our stories, but we’re even more excited to hear yours, because one thing we know for sure is that it’s contagious.
In life, there are some things that you can’t control and other you can. Angie & Nicole decided to conciously dedicate August 2020 as a month to focus on body wellness. Body wellness is something that has to be done intentionally, which is one of the reasons why it can be hard for some to stick to it. In this episode, we talk with Vero from Body by Vero and Glow with Vero about the good, not so good, and everything in between when it comes to body wellness. It’s safe to say that we’ve all had moments in our lives where we are super dedicated and focused on our physical wellbeing and feeling great, and then something happens and we fall off track. Been there. Done that. And guess what? It’s OK! Vero talks about her body wellness journey and also how through the years she’s been able to grow a community empowering people to not only be physically fit, but mentally as well. Listen till the end as we have a special announcement to share with you all!

The Vulnerable Man podcast is an ongoing examination of what it means to be a man, and how we as men want to define masculinity and manhood in the 21st century. The main theme centers around vulnerability and the relationship men have with it individually and collectively. It is not about an either/or mindset. Instead it seeks to come from an approach to better understand how we as men want to show up more powerfully and on purpose in the world. Through conversations with men from all walks of life sharing their experiences, stories, successes, and failures, along with personal observations and experiences from the host, Christopher Veal, it seeks to help each of us understand how leaning into greater vulnerability strengthens us and creates more connection with the people in our world.
