Have you ever wondered why God included certain stories in the Bible? The Bible is meant to show us Jesus and his glorious gospel, yet often we get stuck focusing only on Bible heroes or bad guys with our kids. In each episode, Alicia Yoder storytells a passage from the Bible, looks at the choices that were made and how God is at work, and then shows how God does the same for us–only better–in Jesus. Subscribe for your kids, or listen alongside them! (Music by Scott Holmes)

Let’s Play Ten: The indie and DIY music we love and why we love it. Hosts MP and Ben each pick 5 new songs from 5 different DIY/Small Label artists, and then one deeper track from an older release. We’ll discuss a little bit about each artist and try our best to be as entertaining as all heck for our listeners (we have stories). We DO NOT & WILL NOT monetize this podcast or it’s content, and we WILL NOT be adding sponsors of any sort at any time for our financial gain. We both just want to support artists we love and offer some help in any way we can. Our goal audience is musicians, artists, and fans like yourself and strengthening the music community through an honest and passionate podcast that is all about the art. Lets Play Ten secures the necessary permissions from the copyright holders, and we purchase the music that we play. Created and hosted by: 40ficreations.com Insta: @40ficreations

Disclaimer: We are three inebriated dudes talking about history. This is neither a classroom, nor are we professional comedians. We may make a mistake or two, and many more bad jokes, but it’s all for fun. Enjoy, or don’t – we’ll be here anyway. Cheers. PS: Marjorie Taylor Green doesn’t do pullups, she kips. PPS: Ayn Rand lived on Welfare.

My story begins in Harlem N.Y.C February 1978, the year Hip Hop was born. I was trained in all 4 elements. By the age of 12 I was an expert in the art of djing. Mastering in back spinning, beat juggling, and transforming. Producing blend tapes in the 90’s led to my next stage in hip hop development; Beat making. The MPC2000XL became my weapon of choice. 70’s soul records became my ammunition and the world became my target. After getting the snakes and the leaches off of me I can now for the first time really focus on my music.

http://www.parsecawards.com/past-awards/2009-parsec-award-winners-finalists/14-year-old Monson Grey faces the same challenges that any freshman high school kid would. Difficult classes, weird teachers, food fights…girls. Except Monson Grey is not Monson Grey. At least, when he looks at himself in the mirror, the scarred face staring back is not someone he recognizes. Now he finds himself attending an extraordinary school, the recipient of an incredible scholarship, among ridiculously rich classmates, and with no memory of how he got there or what to expect. As bizarre events start to unfold around him, Monson wonders what secrets lay locked in his hidden past. Add all this to a mysterious silver stone, an Indiana-Jones-copycat professor, Merlin the wizard, and even Atlantis, and you’ll find yourself in a fantastic tale in which magic does exist and everything is never as it seems. Narrated by Chris Snelgrove
