마야⌛ माया ༄ IN THIS TIME OF PURIFYING CHAOS it is the black jaguar who rules. ► Looking for their safety, modern humans have treated the Earth in a way that broke her balance, & this is the most unsafe thing to do.-Arkan Lushwala (author of The Time of the Black Jaguar) ►”I’ve shaken hands with probably 3 Earth-angels in my lifetime & everyone else is just self-sacrificing for self-centered reasons. Rescuers are the most dangerous of all.”-TS 》Any & all attempts to control other people are signs of being out of control with One’s Self. We need Self-Direction independent of Self-Deprivation if we want to know Self Love. ►THE CONDITION OF OUR HUMAN CIVILIZATION IS SPLIT-MINDED. WE’RE ONE FAMILY LOST IN OUR OWN SELF-INFLATED MAKE BELIEVE WORLDS WHILE WE DESTROY THE REAL ONE. There are better things out there than protecting self-Concept, especially if it clouds pure imagination & open connection to life. ►When we’re brought into immediate intimacy with our deepest fears we can’t condemn them without condemning the fact that we’re alive. Fear isn’t shameful & listening to fear isn’t to live at the mercy of fear-just the opposite. ►SELF TRUST is the assured reliance on your own CHARACTER, ABILITY, STRENGTH, & TRUTH. The cost of shaping ourselves to desires, preferences, & expectations of others is losing ourselves. The 2 most painful states in this universe are self-hate & self-distrust. Self-hate comes from self-distrust. Life is torture when you don’t trust yourself & without exception, people who suffer chronically, suffer because the root of dysfunction in their lives is that they don’t trust themselves.”-T. Swan ►IN TODAY’S WORLD, WE’RE NOT TRULY IN A WAR OF IDEAS (AS MUCH AS THIS APPEARS TO BE THE CASE). RATHER, WE’RE AT WAR WITH WHAT PREVENTS US FROM HAVING TRUST IN OUR OWN INNER COMPASS. Within this ability to trust is the key to unburdening the brain from Cortisol Abuse & living a truly healthy life. ►Everybody’s life depends on everybody else being by their side. Feeling the vulnerability of losing friends, family you feel such sorrow but because we’re taught to not have feelings, SHAME TENDS TO FILL THAT VOID. ►Emotions associated with trauma can be extreme. Most of us (& those close to us) recoil & attempt to repress these intense reactions. THIS MUTUAL DENIAL PREVENTS US FROM HEALING. DENIAL IS SO COMMON IN OUR CULTURE that it’s become cliché. Our brain usually refuses to do trauma reset-discharge. We’re too fearful of fierce shaking, the scary flood of natural aggression we might have to feel. We don’t know how to feel strong emotions without acting out, so we don’t want to feel. That’s why humans have trauma & wild animals usually don’t; old fight-flight stress chemicals stay frozen in our bodies. TRAUMA ISN’T WHAT HAPPENS TO US, BUT WHAT WE HOLD INSIDE IN THE ABSENCE OF AN EMPATHETIC WITNESS. Trauma is Hell On Earth, “LIVING DEATH.” ►Held within symptoms are the very energies-potentials necessary for the creative healing process. These can be blocked using drugs to suppress symptoms, overemphasizing adjustment/control, denial/invalidation. Hyperarousal: the nervous system’s accelerator::Overwhelming helplessness, dissociative symptoms: its brake (not ordinary helplessness that can affect anyone from time to time). It’s the sense of being collapsed, immobilized, utterly helpless-NOT a perception, belief, or trick of the imagination. It’s Real. In the immobility state, assertive energies are inaccessible. The restoration of healthy aggression is an essential part in recovery. Empowerment is Acceptance of Personal Authority-the capacity to choose the direction & execution of one’s energies. THIS INNER MOVEMENT TAKES PEOPLE TO A RECONNECTION WITH THE AUTHENTIC SELF, PURPOSEFUL INTENTIONALITY OF MOVEMENT THROUGH LIFE.-P. Levine ∑∭(🌙🌸☀) This is a wave that will continue growing until it breaks the shore of a new time. Nothing can stop it. It is life seeking to continue living. It is us seeking to continue living.-Arkan

During our lifetime, on average, we spend 90’000 hours, meaning 11’250 days, or 30 years working: that is one third of our life. Some of us have a clear idea of what they want to do, from the very beginning; some take a path and then change, some change all the time, some fall into a job by chance and love it; others hate their job but feel stuck and can’t move. Often dissatisfaction at work causes much pain, sadness and frustration. But have you ever spent enough time to value all your options, before you pick a career? Do you know that there are thousands of possible careers awaiting you out there? That is the goal of my podcast: you will find dozens of jobs as they are told on my mic by people like you and me, from around the world. You will be astonished by the number of jobs you would have never thought existed. I hope this will help you make the right choice in life, I hope it will give you inspiration when you are undecided of your career path, and courage to change if you feel stuck.Enjoy and reach out to me for any comment or proposal.Sincerely,Laura LeonciniJob Tales Podcast

Tailored specially to make history more palatable and interesting to children, Our Island Story, by Henrietta Elizabeth Marshall, is a charmingly illustrated volume that promises hours of delight for parents as well as children. Beginning with the myths and legends about Albion, the author ensures that she captivates the child’s imagination from the very first page. Unlike today’s dry and non-committal history tomes that are prescribed in schools, Our Island Story is full of lyrical prose, literary allusions, heroic and tragic characters, the hunger for power and the glory of empire. There are strong elements of folklore, fairy tales, popular legends and a sense of the dramatic. It renders history full of the people who made Britain what it is today and gives modern readers a glimpse into what went into the creation of the once invincible British Empire. Our Island Story was first published in 1905. The period it covers begins with the Roman Occupation of Britain and ends with the Victorian Era. Henrietta Elizabeth Marshall utilizes a fascinating blend of fact and mythology to create a composite picture peopled by colorful characters, driven by ambition, honor, greed or lust to wield power over their fellow men. Wars and rebellions, assassinations and assignations, explorers and extremists, religion and romance are all wonderfully captured in this superbly constructed book. For young readers, Our Island Story presents what could be a mere succession of dry dates and titles in a memorable and engaging form. Older readers would find that the conversion of history into something that is vivid, dramatic and human makes them appreciate how present events have been shaped by the past. Our Island Story (originally titled Our Island Story: A History of England for Boys and Girls) was an instant best-seller when it first came out and has remained a popular choice for schools, libraries and individual readers. The author, Henrietta Elizabeth Marshall was a writer of children’s books and nothing much is known about her personal life. Some critics have pointed out that there are many historical inaccuracies in her writings and she often relied on unorthodox sources for her information. However, it cannot be denied that her writing style is extremely attractive, easy and gives the reader that much needed push to further research, which is what every good book should do. Children as young as nine would be able to read this book on their own, while younger ones would enjoy a read aloud with parents. More great books at LoyalBooks.com
