Now the first question about the show you might have is, well, what’s it about? And that is a very good question, and the honest self centered answer is that it’s about me; Cameron Perry, my life, my experiences, and how I interpret them. The second question I can guess is coming is: what’s with the name? Another great question, wow you’re on fire today. The name of the show is Quiet Up There and it has two meanings.
The first reason is because I’m loud and rowdy and I was even louder and rowdier when I was younger, and my parents were frequently yelling up the stairs to tell me to be quiet. Maybe not always exactly stating but otherwise intending to say: Quiet Up There! The second reason is because as I’ve gotten quieter and less rowdy with age my mind has done the opposite, and I find myself having to stop my train of thought and tell my brain to shut up a second more and more often. Maybe not always exactly stating but otherwise intending to say: Quiet Up There!
The show is very much going to be different week to week depending on what I decide to talk about, so buckle up!
