The Happy Healthy Hairstylist podcast is the hairstylists guide to a happier, healthier, and wealthier life. My name is Shelby Bettencourt, I am THE happy happy healthy queen bee! I own and run a salon in Miami, Florida and KNOW what its like to “forget” about self care as I care for everyone else in my life. I made the mistakes, overbooked, underpaid, full of resent, and was a slave to the trade… then I WOKE UP and changed what didn’t make me feel good and what was no longer serving me. As a salon owner one of the hardest and most emotional things that happens is when a stylist or staff member leaves.
