    by

    Since Jan 1, 1970 00:00 UTC

Glow in the Dark is a collection of poems and essays from my heart, which is sometimes broken. Most of them are painfully recent and focus on topics from my life that have moved me, and in some cases, broken my heart. I hope they move and matter to you. http://bit.ly/itcjromb

Always Already Podcast, a critical theory podcast

    by

    Since Jan 19, 2016 21:56 UTC

Tune in to the Always Already Podcast for indulgent conversations about critical theory (in the broadest read of the term!). Our podcast consists of two episode streams. The first is a discussion of texts spanning critical theory, political theory, social theory, and philosophy. We work through and analyze main ideas, underlying assumptions, connections with other texts and theories, and occasionally delve into the great abyss of free association, ad hoc theory jokes, and makeshift puns. The second stream, entitled Epistemic Unruliness, consists of interviews and discussions with activists, artists, and academics whose “disobedient” work builds upon the themes of that arise in the texts we discuss and in our ongoing podcast conversations. In the first stream we also entertain the questions of friends and strangers and dole out slapdash advice about everything from massaging a head of Brooklyn kale to sweet talking a nebechy philosopher and dealing with the vagaries of academic life. We also put on our Freud-Klein-Lacan-Irigaray hats as we provide dream analysis to (always already anonymized) listener dreams. Be a part by sending us text suggestions, interview ideas, advice questions to answer, and dreams to analyze. The Always Already Podcast is created by B Aultman, Rachel Brown, Emily Crandall, John McMahon, and James Padilioni, Jr. The text discussion episodes also entertain the questions of friends and strangers as we dole out slapdash advice to audience queries on everything from how to massage a head of Brooklyn kale to how to sweet talk a nebechy philosopher to how to deal with the vagaries of academic life. by

    Since Mar 3, 2019 12:00 UTC

Welcome to Getting In the Loop – a podcast dedicated to exploring how to transform to a more circular society that recognises our planet’s limited resources. Join host Katie Whalen as she examines the challenges facing our current resource use and discovers alternatives to the ‘take, make, dispose’ way of doing things. Each week she interviews circular economy experts about what they’re doing and learning (including Anna Tari of the Circular Economy Club, Ken Webster of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and many more). Together we’ll uncover what circular economy means in practice and find out what’s being done to keep our resources in a loop rather than sent to waste. Our Quest – The Tales of Gaiyel

Our Quest – The Tales of Gaiyel

    by

    Since Aug 4, 2022 17:16 UTC

On the world of Gaiyel lies a continent named Bardane, it is here where heroes must be born again. This is Our Quest!

Hello avid adventurers, I am Jake your Dungoen Master, welcome to the beautiful world of Dungeons and Dragons. For those of you new to D&D, this is a story driven fantasy game, where a Dungeon Master, or “DM”, will narrate a fictional world and players will role play characters within the world. Players must overcome a variety of challenges, set by the DM, such as puzzles; traps and fights, in order to progress further in the story. They do this by rolling a multitude of dice and using their wit and improvisation skills to stay alive.

Now, let’s move on to our fantasy world of Gaiyel!

    Season 1

On this world lies an isolated continent called Bardane. Around 100 years ago, there was a horrible war that almost wiped out all life. Within many of the small kingdoms, dark spiralling towers, known as ‘Dark Spires’, burst from the ground and poured darkness into the sky. This is when ‘The Greater Evil’, whose name was lost in time, rose to power. It was then that true heroes were born and fought back the darkness with sword and spell. After the last Spire fell, and the war was won, the heroes mysteriously vanished. It is now 100 years later and Bardane has slowly recovered, although the heroes have been long forgotten. The Spire Wars are now tales told by bards in local taverns. It is in one of these taverns where a team of four unlikely ‘people’ come together and are thrown into the mysteries of a war long forgotten.

    Season 2

The story continues with a new group, but are they hero’s this time, or something a little bit more sinister. Under the ruling of there mysterious master, the new cast venture to the ancient lands Veros. They have been given a mission that they don’t quite understand, but hope to have there dreams made reality in completing it. Veros is a place of peace and prosperity, but it lingers on the edge of a knife. Our delinquents could easily destroy what has been build here, but will they be able to handle the consequences of a once waring torn country loose its peace slumber.

Please be aware that our content contains adult humour, bad language, violence and hard-hitting topics. Listener discretion is advised.
