When we think about energy, we tend to think of technology, like wind turbines, pipelines, or cars. But underlying all technologies are people — and the human dimensions of energy are fraught with inequities. “Just Energy” is a podcast collaboration between me, an energy justice professor at Indiana University’s O’Neill School, and my master of public affairs students. Here we explore what energy (in)justice is, its racial and social dimensions, and how to make future energy policy more inclusive by design. Because it’s never just about energy. It’s about people.

Welcome to Work & Wealth with The Watters Podcast hosted by Shy and Dom Watters, sibling entrepreneurs from Baltimore, Maryland. This podcast was created to inspire, teach, and demonstrate different values of wealth building. Wealth is not only monetary, but you must include health, spirituality, mental, relationships, and so much more. As brother and sister these two have overcame several challenges growing up in the inner city like most people do. And just like you they decided to take matters into their own hands and fulfill their dreams. With faith in God, and strong support system. They attack their goals to impact the community and culture they love. Sit back and listen to an amazing show for amazing people, like you that want more out of life.
Wayne and Shane discuss movies that may have never made it to the multiplex screens or spent much, if any, time at any theater. There are many fine quality, low budget, independent, and international movies that deserve to be seen. We take two such films biweekly that we feel should be rediscovered.
Nurse Liz and her BFF business partner, Nicole, discuss all things injectables. They share the dirty secrets of how MedSpa treatments really work to help you look years younger. They share outrageous stories and how they are building a new opportunity.

The Imitation of Christ is widely considered one of the greatest manuals of devotion in Christianity. The life of Christ is presented as the highest study possible to a mortal, as Jesus’ teachings far excel all the teachings of the saints. The book gives counsel to read the scriptures, statements about the uses of adversity, advice for submission to authority, warnings against temptation and how to resist it, reflections about death and the judgment, meditations upon the oblation of Christ, and admonitions to flee the vanities of the world. A recording of a Dutch translation of this work is also available (Thomas a Kempis was Dutch but wrote in Latin of course). More great books at LoyalBooks.com

This podcast is created to provide additional information and commentary to the Street and Practical Law classes that I teach at Leominster High School located in Leominster, Massachusetts. It compliments the purpose of these classes “…to empower young people to be active, engaged citizens by equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully participate and create change in their communities.” It is based on the foundations of our democratic Republic: the Constitution, natural law and freedom.

Virtually every one of us has had a film experience that altered us in some way, that gave us a passion, a fear, a way of looking at the world. I task my guests with talking about the five movies that have made them, well, them! We’ll explore how each movie changed them, while also looking at three other influences, from the broad spectrum of their experience, that made them who they are today.
