Hi Everyone! My name is Shaun Saunders, and I am delighted that you have decided to join the 90 day Bible Challenge. Several years ago, I decided to do a #90DayChallenge to deepen my relationship with God and to learn more about the Bible. I didn’t realize that several others wanted to do the same. This year, I decided to return to our 90 Day Challenge, but to read the entire Bible in community, with one another. Why? Because many people attend church, but not many Christians read the Bible. Scripture tells us that we will have good success if we meditate on the law both day and night, and I don’t know about you, but I want to live my BEST LIFE today, not tomorrow! What better way to do that, than to begin in the Word of God.

As a kid, I dreamed of being independent, free, and answerable to no one. When I grew up, I worked hard to build a life just like that. However, as the seasons of life evolved, I realised how transient some of my ideas of freedom really were. I began to reflect: What does it mean to be truly free from the inside out? And can I experience freedom in a universe governed by universal laws? John 8:32 says, “The truth will make you free.” It struck me that truth was something I needed to know. Join me on this podcast as we journey into the profound question: What is “the truth” that has the power to set us free?

An uncommon perspective, no less, on what it means to be human – a perspective that encourages noticing what unites us as people, not what separates and divides us. A perspective that prefers showing to telling. A perspective that encourages listening to those that see life differently to us, rather than blaming and shaming them. And all via 10- to 15-minute mostly-scripted monologues.
