The views and opinions you hear belong to us and nobody else. Ken and Mike return with a spirited back-and-forth about North Carolina’s bathroom bill, a bit about Bernie, and a diatribe about Trump and the justice system. You know, the usual. Ken refers to the excellent Dana Gould Hour podcast episode Left & Right, and this piece by Anna Garvey defining the Oregon Trail Generation. And […]

Welcome to North by Norway. I’m Scottish-Norwegian, I’ve lived and worked in Norway for over 40 years, and I’ve got a lot to tell you about this extraordinary country. Norway exerts a magnetic attraction on most people. Perhaps the romance of the Vikings and the fjords. Perhaps the modern saga of social democracy. Well, this podcast will range across history, culture, nature, and today’s society.
Let’s travel North by Norway!

This ongoing series of “capers” tells of epic voyages, castaway survivors, swashbuckling characters, family cruises, cultural setbacks, technical breakthroughs, racing triumphs, and the “seasteading” lifestyle. Revealed within these stories are many details of design, construction, operation and seamanship. Since World War Two, the emergence of truly modern, lightweight vessels – recreational and commercial, multihull and monohull, power and sail – constitutes a sea change in marine architecture that may well persist for generations to come. Because modern seafaring has advanced so fast, and yet history often neglects its oral heritage, now is the time for us to gather and share this legacy.

Welcome to Not a Morning Mom! My name is Allison, and I’m in my 30s. My husband and I are originally from the East Coast (I am from New Jersey, and he is from New York). I live in Northeastern Ohio with my husband and 2 sweet boys. We are a fun bunch, but we all have our moments. Life with my dudes is never dull. My purpose is to share real life parenting with all of you. My goal is to make you laugh and also realize we are all in this thing called parenting together. We can learn from each other, and we do not have to be perfect. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/notamorningmom/support
