Once upon a time there was a family called the Topps, who lived in a very nice house. Some of the Topps were big enough to be grown-ups and some were small. They might have been girls or boys, (you never could be quite sure), but one thing is certain – all the Topps loved their house. Find out what happens next in this original story from the UK’s children’s radio station Fun Kids, read by Dan Simpson.

We’re moms of teens and tweens, we’re nurses, and we’re trying to keep it all together while raising SIX kids between us! Oh, and we’re best friends. One of us is happily married, the other one is happily divorced. We know what it’s like to juggle EVERYTHING while trying not to lose your mind! If you need to unwind, pour yourself some magic coffee, and hang with us while we attempt to figure it all out.
Where do we even start?! Catching up with Melissa before she heads back to her travel assignment, we cover all sorts of things and screentime is one of them. Death by Bloody Mary Bar, farts, the ABC After School Special, and what the hell does BTS stand for? We’re talking about all the things.
Kelsey B., there’s not an H in your name, so we apologize for that one straight away (but we’ll still pronounce it with one)
Bubble Pizza Recipe
BTS stands for Bangtan Boys. No, we don’t know how those initials came to be, either.
So, Danielle was thinking of the movie, “Desperate Lives” when she was talking about the ABC After School Special, but it’s on the same sort of “cautionary” tale that saturated the teen TV market in the late 70s/early 80s. Enjoy Helen Hunt getting peer pressured by some dreamy dolt of a guy to try crank, and watch as she jumps through a window, unscathed. You’re welcome.
