My assignment on Earth is to guide and help you grow in spirit, soul, mind, and body so you can be free to live out your purpose and passion. Much of our time together will be centered on spiritual growth. I believe when you grow in this area, you will grow in all other areas. The scriptures say, “I am the vine, you are the branches. Apart from me, you are nothing.” You have been created with everything you need for the journey. Unfortunately, most become distracted in their time as they focus on the ego, rather than the spirit. I challenge you to open your heart and believe again. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/anthony-thompson04/support

Parenting Up, Parenting Down is a podcast designed to support caregivers. The biggest growing population, the sandwich generation, are those who are caring for their growing children and their aging parents. Sometimes, all at once. This generation of individuals are feeling more stress than any other age group as they try to balance these responsibilities. The job is extreme, demanding, and can bring on conflicting emotions. So, pour yourself a cup of coffee, cozy up on the couch with a blanket and allow us to support you through this journey of laughter, hope, and reinvention. You are not alone.

True Tales of the Illuminati is about conspiracies. Ah, yes, conspiracies–where the strings of history are carefully pulled from behind the scenes to dance for the powerful like a puppet. In True Tales, the powerful are less puppet-masters and more… finger puppet-masters. At best. Promoted from the Department of Cover-Ups to Direct Action, Deputy Head Underboss Rebecca and her crew of hapless idiots intrigue, scheme, and stab their way into ruining every Illuminati conspiracy. Supervisors hastily deploy staff to cover mishaps, suddenly and inexplicably lose interest in the projects they proposed, and hand down endlessly diverse and contradictory demands. The result is an absurdist, farcical office comedy where going to work involves collecting thousands of birds and creating an elaborate snake-based series of traps. Why? Well, if you want to know the Illuminati’s Secret Occult Knowledge, you’ll just have to listen. Illuminati, Ollominoto!

Debbie Hyde talks to international barrister and Earth Lawyer Polly Higgins about the Law of Ecocide and her pledge of ‘Dare to be Great’ It’s human nature to respond defensively when we feel thwarted or violated. Anger rises within us and, if left unchecked, will automatically spill out into our words and actions. However, just what exactly are we fuelling when we speak or take action in a state of anger? How is our precious energy being used when […]

Welcome to Women Get Lit!
Hey there, I’m Kasia, a passionate young Polish university student on a quest to unearth the hidden gems of literature.
As a young woman studying English, I have always been interested in discussions surrounding feminism. This series documents my journey of self-discovery, where I challenge the way I was taught to see and analyse literature at an all-girls school.
In each episode I explore a new book and theme that challenges women’s representation across various genres and times. I discuss how literature written by and about women has shaped my understanding of myself, other women, men and the word around me. I navigate through my own internalised anxieties and misogyny, as I reshape my understanding of women through literature.
I discuss a range of literary texts, from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales Bronte’s Jane Eyre, Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway to Radcliffe’s Mysteries of Udolpho. This only names a few.
Women Get Lit isn’t just about books; it’s about diving headfirst into the themes that matter most. We’ll discuss: marriage, creativity, violence against women, female voice, sexuality, and solidarity (its power and faults).
And the best part? I’m not alone on this literary adventure. It was important for me to capture a range of voices, perspectives and opinions. Joining me are university students, academics and even a therapist, each who have offered a unique perspective and insight into the world of books and studies.
