This show is inspired by the podcast Other People’s Pockets and seeks to bring transparency around what SLPs are being paid. Salary stagnation continues to be one of the issues plaguing SLP careers and is worsened by companies preying on new grads who are unaware of what to expect or how to negotiate an appropriate wage. This podcast seeks to arm SLPs with the knowledge they need to increase their own pay, thus elevating our field as a whole.

Let Me Introduce You is a podcast hosted by Graham Veth, Katie Kubert and Ashley Krohn. We’ve known each other nearly 20 years (starting back in film school) and have stayed close friends ever since.
We know…everything about one another and have far, far too much in common. Except, our taste in movies. Seriously, there is very little overlap….
Each week, one of us will introduce the others to one of our favorites. The catch is that one of us has to be seeing it for the first time.
From Troop Beverly Hills to Hellraiser; Clue to Nightmare on Elm Street; Barbarella to Step Up 2: The Streets, no movie is off the table (even if we find it’s not our cup of tea…).
New episodes drop every Thursday, let us introduce you to Let Me Introduce You! Make sure to follow us on Instagram @letmeintroyoupod and on Twitter @letmeintroyou

Passing the paediatric orthopaedic part of the FRCS (Orth) exam is a real challenge, given the complexity of the conditions and the fact that for many candidates, opportunites for clinical experience are limited. These podcasts complement the intensive one day revision course in paediatric orthopaedics run by Orthopaedic Research UK (https://oruk.org/upcoming-events/paeds-in-one-day-oruk-intensive-online-frcs-orth-revision-course-for-paediatric-orthopaedics/). Using interviews with great teachers, examiners, successful candidates and others, we discuss preparation for the exam, structuring paediatric viva questions logically, the marking scheme and how to score well, how to answer questions about controversial areas of practice, and the common pitfalls to avoid.
