Have you ever asked if there was a god? If so, Have you ever asked who is god? I have asked these two questions and I’ve come to the conclusion that there is a god. I’ve read, heard and seen stories that convince me that there must be a god. I was intrigued enough to ask who this god is. Because, I’d like to know. That started me on a journey to collect the stories about people who have encountered god. I’m gathering first hand stories that will help me to get a better picture and maybe even an understanding of who god is. If you’re curious to learn answers to these two questions, join me as we hear some of the stories of average people like you and me who have encountered a living god in a way that has impacted and changed their life. Three ways to get to know someone:
– Read about them
– Talk to them
– Talk to people who know them
In this podcast we’ll talk to people who have met or claim to know god. We’ll hear about their experiences and together, we’ll pursue answers to these two questions. Maybe you too will encounter a god that will impact and change your life.

Because fewer than 7% of Americans have served in uniform, most Americans are unfamiliar with military service and culture. As a result, members of the military and Veteran community are at greater risk for disconnection and lack of belonging with the civilian community. PsychArmor’s mission is to bridge the military-civilian divide by educating and training a Nation. Each week, Duane France, a combat Veteran and Clinical Mental Health Counselor, will dig deep into the stories “Behind The Mission” – and create a conversation with organizations and leaders on how they are utilizing their expertise and networks to support the military-connected community.

The Torah contains 613 Mitzvos, Commandments. Many of the Mitzvos are quite familiar to us, such as loving our fellow as ourselves and eating matzah on Passover, but many are more obscure and unfamiliar. The Mitzvah Podcast is a project to offer a snapshot of each mitzvah, in the order in which they appear in the Torah. Each episode will be dedicated to a single Mitzvah or a bunch of Mitzvos if they are closely related and offer an overview of said Mitzvah, together with anecdotes and vignettes and interesting questions that arise in the Talmud and other books of Jewish Literature. Please email any questions, comments, or feedback to rabbiwolbe@gmail.com.
