LaCosta interviews seniors about how they got to where they are and how they are continuing to crush-it in their mature years. LaCosta is known as THE Senior Editor because he has interviewed seniors for the past three decades and is perhaps the longest-running writer in this narrowest of niches. This podcast affords him the opportunity to pass along the same sagely wisdom that he has received from elders and has admired during his thirties, forties, fifties and now. Stone Clearing With Richard Herring
The world’s first podcast dedicated to the ancient art of Stone Clearing (removing stones from a field and using them for better purpose) which will serve as an introduction to the industry for the newcomer, but hopefully provide tips for the many other stone clearers around the world, as well of being of interest to people who like to hear poor quality audios of an unfit man walking round a field, moving stones and talking to himself, whilst trying to pretend to other dog walkers that he isn’t doing that. Over the next years and decades it will be a weekly update on [p]Richard Herring[/p]’s attempts to build a wall around the huge field that can be seen from space and also rid the said field of anything that is bigger than a piece of soil, to a depth of 5 metres. Along the way we will learn much about life, death, the futility of existence and how sometimes when you attempt the impossible you can succeed. Though most times you won’t. For more information on stone clearing please read Richard’s daily blog (warning – contains some non-stone clearing blogs), Warming Up: http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup Remember this effort is a secret. Please do not tell anyone what Richard is doing.

In This Labyrinth: The Phantom of the Opera In Erik’s Times and Ours
This podcast draws on the world’s most popular musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom Of The Opera, as well as on the experience of Phanship having been a Phan myself for three odd decades now, to explore social justice and intersectionality. That said, although a lot of my exploration and analysis comes from the Lloyd Webber stage-musical, I will talk about other versions of Phantom as well, along with some of the best of Phanfiction that I’ve yet come across! And whenever possible, I’ll be interviewing fellow Phans, Phan-authors/creators, etc, to give voice to different experiences than just my own. So enjoy, and long live Phantom as a force for a better world! PSA #SaveTheBrilliantOriginal #PhantomoftheOpera! As folks may know, the London and Broadway flagship productions have been closed due to #COVID19 (read more about it on the podcast blog). So now, we need to make sure that, when they reopen, Hal Prince’s, Gillian Lynn’s and Maria Bjornson’s original vision is preserved!
