Welcome to “Let’s Raise Awareness of Mental Health,” produced by your hostess Victoria Kidson! Are you tired of seeing women with autism overlooked and under-represented in society? In each episode, we’ll be joined by women and marginalised individuals who will share their personal recovery journeys and provide valuable tips and resources for managing autism and/or maintaining mental well-being. I also acknowledge the positive impact that men are making to change the world of disabilities, mental health, and neurodiversity as part of the #HeforShe movement. Victoria will share her personal insights and experience with mental health and recovery. She will discuss the importance of taking care of our mental wellbeing and the power of positivity in the journey towards healing. Victoria will also share some tips and tricks for maintaining a healthy mindset, and offer some light-hearted moments to keep things “giggles and smiles.” Tune in as Victoria encourages listeners to prioritise their mental health and shares her story of hope and resilience. MY MISSION: To empower and support women with autism and undiagnosed autism to embrace their unique identities and achieve positive change and recovery. I am striving to create a safe and inclusive community where these women can explore and utilise their creativity, build self-worth, and develop the skills and self-awareness necessary for self-acceptance and self-help. I believe that every woman with autism has the potential to thrive and lead fulfilling lives, and it is my goal to provide the tools, resources, and support they need to do so. Through a combination of education, empowerment, and community building, I hope to inspire and enable these women to embrace their strengths, embrace their challenges, and embrace their futures. How To Love Yourself No Matter What

How To Love Yourself No Matter What

    by

    Since Sep 16, 2020 23:08 UTC

Welcome to the How To Love Yourself No Matter What Podcast, hosted by Amanda Hess, a Certified Trauma Aware Life & Success Coach for Neurodivergent Women. This podcast is dedicated to helping neurodivergent women change what they think is “wrong with them” into their superpower. Amanda struggled with her neurodivergence for years without even knowing that it was neurodivergence. Maybe you can relate? Thanks to not understanding her unique brain and her unique needs, Amanda spent decades dealing with the emotional fallout of not knowing how to address her highly sensitive nervous system. This meant a long journey of mental health struggles, meds that didn’t work and therapy that seemingly made her feel worse, not better. Until she found coaching, which changed everything. Now Amanda teaches neurodivergent women how to approach their unique brains in a way that creates trust, understanding, and real results. If you are craving a new experience with yourself and want to feel like you truly belong to yourself and to the world, this podcast is for you. Let’s get started.

    Parenting Our Future

    Parenting Our Future

    by

    Since Jul 16, 2019 03:00 UTC

Parents! We CAN change the world, starting with the way we’re parenting our future. Up to this point in history, children have been seen as less than and parented in a way that uses power over a child. Most of us were parented in this way but there is a shift in thinking about the way we raise our kids. Parents don’t feel good about using shame, blame, criticism, punishments, and even rewards, to get their kids to listen. Parents are wanting a different way because they know from their own childhoods this type of parenting hurts and leaves us with scars we take with us through our adulthood. Each one of my episodes is designed to help you navigate the difficult journey of parenting but in a way that is more peaceful and intentional. I’ll show you how to get your kids to listen and cooperate without yelling, punishments and rewards. I’ll show you how to understand your own feelings and those of your kids. My intention is to bring you to a place where you feel connected with your kids and yourself (we often get lost when we become parents!). Tune in weekly for all the inside tips, tools and tricks I teach my private clients to help you build the family you always wanted, and to become the parent you always envisioned you would be. I promise to provide you with fun and entertaining content that will leave you seeing your kids and your reactions in a whole new light! Please make sure to share the episodes that give you goosebumps, and leave you feeling inspired! I am always grateful for every person who subscribes, leaves a review and rates my podcast 5 stars.
