Welcome to ‘all that we are’ (formally the future is beautiful) with amisha ghadiali. On this show we explore the weave between activism, the sacred, creativity and regeneration. The spaces where our inner and outer worlds dance. From healing trauma to nature connection to new technologies to ancient wisdom – it’s time for us to move beyond silos and into an integrated way of being. Every one of us has ideas and personal experiences to share that can lead us to a more beautiful future. Despite the challenges we face as a global community or the pressures we meet in our daily lives, when we stop and dare to listen, to ask ourselves the big questions and to share what we are already doing and envisioning, we create the futures of our wildest dreams. And we begin to embody all that we are, all that we are becoming and all that is possible. Discover more about our collective and podcast at www.allthatweare.org

How in heaven’s name does someone BUILD A BRAIN! Please allow me to explain. In the late 1990’s, I was watching a webinar about teaching for intelligence. This very idea was counter to all I had been taught in college. Of course, intelligence is fixed – determined by the genes and early childhood. It can’t be “taught” or so I thought. But one man on the panel of child experts disagreed with everyone else. I saw his name was Reuven Feuerstein and he changed my life!

When it comes to grief, individual loss is unique, yet so much of grief is universal. How do we lean into the pain, and then let it go? How do we reconnect with our loved ones and find them in new ways? What does death and losing someone ultimately teach us about life? Join Kelsey Chittick — writer, comedian, and widow of NFL Super Bowl Champion, Nate Hobgood-Chittick — as she explores grief and its gifts.

THE STREAM OF STREAM PODCAST is an exercise in impromptu narrative storytelling, where I build an improvised story based on a one sentence prompt submitted by you, the listener. The story is then narrated while I’m sitting on a chair inside my closet. There’s no editing, there’s nothing prepared ahead of time. The story just comes from the mouth and will be recorded, as it is, with lots of problems in it, forever.
