    Get Changed with Kat Farmer

    Since Mar 25, 2022 17:00 UTC

No matter who we are or where we are, we all have one thing in common. Every day we make the decision of what to wear. And clothes have the ability to set the tone for how we are received by those around us and how feel about ourselves. In this podcast, Kat Farmer (ITV fashion presenter and author of the book Get Changed) explores the sometimes underestimated relationship with our wardrobes and how it contributes to our identities.

Join Kat and friends including Gaby Roslin, Hill House Vintage and Tamzin Outhwaite, for the perfect balance of humour and honesty as they take a nostalgic trip to remember key wardrobe moments from shoulder pad disasters and how they found their groove postpartum to clever sustainability hacks and their current fashion icons. Loaded with top tips as well as refreshing wit and charm that will appeal to listeners, this podcast helps its audience laugh at (and deal with) their past fashion crises, with listeners writing in to confess their own unforgivable fashion blunders like that cringeworthy shell-suit!

Vault 97 is a fan podcast set in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic, atom-age inspired universe of Fallout. The eponymous Vault 97 is a large, underground complex with two interesting details: the first is that it is a fully featured music studio and radio broadcast centre with the latest technology, and two, it has been filled with musicians, personalities and any other remaining ex-pats and civilians from Great Britain (along with those that could fake a convincing enough accent to get in). Susan, the only remaining human member of staff, proudly and diligently hosts the entirety of station under the long-running banner of WVR, West Vault Radio, with her team of robots and automated programming subroutines. Why is Susan the only remaining Human? How does she survive through the loneliness and depression of being underground? How are the tea reserves still plentiful? Find out all this and more from WVR, broadcasting today for a brighter tomorrow! Vault 97 written and performed by Laura Manwell. Music/Sound design, visual design and narration by Luke Highet.

    The India Hicks Podcast

    The India Hicks Podcast

    by

    Since Aug 1, 2019 07:50 UTC

A wonderfully intimate look into the life and work of India Hicks and her extraordinary family. In Season One we’re talking Movie Stars, Matadors and Maharajas as we have tea and cake with Lady Pamela, daughter of Lord and Lady Mountbatten and of course India’s much moved mum. Now in her 90s Lady Pamela’s stories will astound you; she’s first cousins with Prince Philip, travelled the world on the famous Commonwealth tour when Princess Elizabeth became Queen, befriended everyone from Grace Kelly to Gandhi and had a front row seat as her father, the last Viceroy of India, oversaw the complicated process of partition. We ask that if you have listened to this podcast would you be so kind as to consider making a donation to The Princes Trust – a charitable organisation with which India is actively involved. Many thanks. www.princes-trust.org.uk Produced by Lisa Francesca Nand and edited by Alex George.
